when she died before the retaping of the ending, there was a lot of malicious things said about the producers just wanted to downplay her involvement in the movie because of her acting. the truth is they were expecting her to recover some, at least less pain, so they were just waiting. unfotunately, even doctors can make mistakes. they did not catch all that was wrong with her. they did not want to subject a child to all the tests that would have actually saved her life.

adorable little girl from the Poltergeist movies and one year on Happy days.it is tragic she died so young.it would have been nice to see the other roles she could have had.

she was a talented child actor and it very sad she died so young. poltergeist has alot of strange and sad things connected to it.

I loved her from what I saw of her in Happy Days and the Poltergeist movies. It is a real shame that she died the way she did--in pain. It is also creepy being that she died on my birthday.
