Why not? I always thought Doc Holiday shot first, so it would be a hoot to see if I'm right.

Maybe, but back then it must have been another shootout, but if you knew the historical significance of it-also, the Earps may have been real sleazebags.

A fight between rival gangs of quasi-hoodlums that lasts less than thirty seconds doesn't thrill me much.

American history is fascinating- but this hokey-pokey dad-gummit moment is quite low on the level of importance or interest. . .

Today is October 26. On this date in history, in 1881, in Tombstone, Arizona, we witness the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Wyatt Earp, Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, and Doc Holliday fought against Frank McLaury, Tom McLaury, Ike Clanton, Billy Claiborne and Billy Clanton. Ike Clanton and Billy Claiborne ran in the middle of the fight, unharmed. Both McLaurys and Billy Clanton were killed, while Holliday, Morgan Earp and Virgil Earp were wounded. Thirty shots were fired in thirty seconds. If you are interested in the details of the fight, read the Wikipedia article at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunfight_at_the_O.K._C orral
