I had the 'Fury' for several years. It served me well, and was a solid vac. However, it was a bit too heavy and lost some suction over time.

Bought our Fantom Fury in Dec 01. It's the best bang per buck vacuum we've ever had! We have a Big Male German Shepherd that sheds constantly and that vacuum picks EVERYTHING UP! Best $99 from WalMart that we ever spent!

I bought this vaccuum 6 years ago and it just died on me, it had it's faults but overall good suction. Went through more belts than I would have liked though. What do you want for 150 bucks?

I bought the Phantom Fury about 3 years ago and I HATE it !!! Mostly because it is heavy and very cumbersome to use. The attachments don't work worth a darn, they are so very unhandy. It seems to pick up dirt and dust but this is not a redeeming factor considering the overall performance of this product. If I had it to do over again I would pass this sucker up!!!!!

The suction performance may be ok, but the collection bin keeps coming apart and dirt flies everywhere. It does not have the cleaning ease as advertised. It gets very hot, an actual heat comes from it, it's terrible in the summer time. Also, it is a struggle to put the collection bin back on after emptying it, I'm sorry I purchased it!!
