One of the most enduring Hollywood couples, and perhaps the one with the most class.   She's a darling creature and a fine actresses.  He was one of the major American screen figures, and, considering his philanthropic efforts, a truly great man.  You never heard gossip about these two because they were committed to one another, were decent people, and conducted themselves in a respectable and responsible manner.  Other couples in the public eye should at least try to follow their model, but, don't hold your breath.

Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman are celebrating their 48th wedding anniveresary this month, which is awesome these days for anybody, and particularly among celebrities. They've shared the same profession and have done fine work individually, and sometimes collaborating (remember "Rachael, Rachael"?). I admire the way they have respected each other and kept their personal relationship and family life private. They've relied on their work to hold the public's interest. According to what I've read, this was not Paul Newman's first marriage or his first time as a parent.

Unlike the Pitt-Aniston garbage everyone use to idolize, people ought to turn their attention to real people who actually love each other (and can act). Such is the case of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman, whom have shown what a strong, real Hollywood marriage actually is. And unlike too many Hollywood fakes, this couple have contributed to more positives than negatives in both achieving and maintaining stardom.

Married since the later 1950s and still holding. They have proven to have a good strong marriage. Nice to see a Hollywood couple show that marriages can last. I like alll the charity work they have done together. and not to mention, both are great actors.
