I can't speak for the world but I have seen God's healing. I'm sorry if you choose to doubt Jesus' power to heal. I choose to believe because Jesus, including his power is real! By his stripes we are healed... Jesus is the only healer. Man is used by God to pray for peoples healing, but Jesus is the healer. My daughter was healed of a broken arm, I definitely believe in healing. I have been and also have friends who have been healed. I have seen the miracles of the power of God in my life; I know God is the same today as he was in the past. I can not explain why everyone who prays is not healed; I do believe that God is all knowing and does, as he knows what is best. I also believe that God answers prayer sometimes conditionally. The Bible says that our prayers are answered because we do things that are pleasing in his sight. Many times people only ask God to help them when they are down and out, then they ignore him when life is good. God cares more about your soul than about your health, think about this the next time you pray. God loves you, he will answer prayer but sometimes if your prayer is out of the will of God or if in his wisdom he delays, don't stop trusting him. God's delays are not denials. Prayer is answered by faith. God wants a relationship with you, not your theology or corporate/ organized religion.

This is one of the most defining things about Jesus - His compassion to motivate Him to want to heal people, and His power to do it. I even believe Jesus still supernaturally heals today. But at the same time, these TV evangelists have it wrong. Because they say that EVERYONE should be healed and it can leave you with a feeling that if you are not being healed, that means that God is punishing you or He isn't happy with you. For a start, a lot of these healings on these evangelist shows are psychosomatic (because God has given our bodies the ability to heal itself) but also, God's will is different for different people. It's funny how these evangelists say that we should all be healed. They have obviously never heard what happened to Apostle John and how he was once tortured before he gave the account of Revelations, and how Apostle Paul was never healed from his scaring after he had been stoned. Or how we should mourn for those who are sick. There seems to be two parts to God's will. One part is His ideal will and the other part is His specific will. His ideal will for us is for us to be happy, to prosper (maybe not materially), to live long and to be in good health. The Bible talks about prosperity and healing and health and how God wants us to prosper. But where things get complex is the fact that God has a specific will for us. In His specific will, it is not that God doesn't want us to prosper that we don't always prosper or be healthy, but it is the fact that God balances the most important things eg your spiritual health. If your prosperity reduces your love for God and your spiritual health and goodness, then you won't prosper physically. Or God may be trying to develop character in you because He has a special job for you to do that no one else may do. Or it may simply be that your illness and poverty may be the thing that makes you so effective in doing God's will because there are a lot of people who hate rich evangelists and won't trust them. And would rather listen to a poor person. Plus poor and suffering people are amongst the most sympathetic people, because they will be able to identify with the people that God wants to help. Where TV evangelists get it wrong is the fact that they only focus on Gods ideal will. Even then, they do it in a perverted way, giving you the signal to try obedience and see what happens rather then obeying out of love. Or to seek God for a blessing, what 1Timothy 6 clearly warns us not to do, and how perverted preachers will preach this. All in all, Jesus is a healer. If not healing physically, then He will always heal you spiritually.

Jesus was,if nothing else, a healer.There were many people at this time in history doing what he did.

There was a time in my life (roughly between the ages of 18 and 21) that I was very sick, but I also know that it had to be the Lord who has brought me to where I am now. I think I'm in pretty good health at this time, and all my praise goes to God for everything He's done.

Jesus is the best healer there is. Faith takes courage; the courage to take a leap of faith.

I definitely believe he was and still is the master healer!That is where Benny Hinn and some others are way out in left field.You don't plan way ahead and say ok we are going to do some healing tonight.I believe the Lord God heals when he chooses.

Of course! And the greatest healing miracle of all is that death was replaced by eternal life. We only have Christ to thank for that.

I believe that Jesus was and is a healer and suffered every much and more than the movie could possibly show. This was the the best depiction of what He went through to open the hearts of those who either choose to serve The Lord or ignore Him.
