Have appointments elsewhere. This was my number one way of screwing around in the Marines. Quoth the numbah: "Sergeant, I have an appointment at 1400, it will likely take all afternoon..."

there's an Irish bar down the street from my job called Muldoon's. i leave work all the time and go there for vodka. i'm drunk at work right now....and my dumb a** boss is sitting right next to me. thank satan for vodka and polar ice gum

We used to leave work all the time to go get ice-cream, or to go buy pizza. We used to only do this if we knew the boss would not be back or it would have been instant termination !
