That's right. I'm a perfect student that never doodles instead of taking math notes or whispers instead of working on my biology project. Ha, ha, ha!!!

Yeah right!!!! Get back to work everybody or I am cutting the Christmas bonus. Just kidding as long as you get your work done I dont care if you goof off when you're done.

i honestly don't have a lot of time to fool around. there is always something to do which makes the day go by very quickly.

I figure, hey, if our country's President spends 30 minutes a day playing video golf, why shouldn't I enjoy the same luxury?

As if!!! When I used to work as a Lab Tech for a major pharmaceutical company I had very poorly defined goals, and my immediate supervisor was only able to spend about 20 minutes per week with me discussing my projects. So basically I had no idea what was expected of me or what I should be focusing on at any time. Rather than giving myself ulcers worrying about these things, I became an expert at appearing busy while accomplishing very little. Of course, I felt useless and fearful of being found out so I quit that job and actually changed careers. Yes I goofed off, but it wasn't entirely by choice. It was because I really had no clue what I was supposed to be doing at any time. The corporate atmosphere definitely strangles the life out of people.

Honestly, is there anyone who, on one level or another, doesn't goof off at work? I'm sure there are a lot of people who will claim that they don't but my theory is that everyone, from Gary Payton to George W. Bush goofs off at work on a daily basis.

They must be the ones that are getting my raises!
