Good acting and good plots. A well done show, though I wish the first two had moved faster--it made me lose interest.

Light, entertaining and often very amusing...I think these are really neat stories. Hetty is a grandmotherly character who decided to put her ability of solving local mysteries to work by starting her own detective agency. Sort of an amateur Miss Marple. She doesn't deal with rapes, hate crimes or bloody murders... just local mysteries like missing persons, thefts and like issues. You will like Hetty!

Not only does the plot keep you interested, but the main characters' personalities are always a delight.

As an American who loves to watch BBC TV shows, this has to be among my favorites. I enjoy the actress in this series. The combination of characters and their age differences makes this "a unique watching experience."
