They used to have a Triple A team in the PCL up until about 1990. That team folded/moved because the Major League affliate got tired of picking up the costs. Can't see this happening, although the players might like the road-trips.

That's a good thought, but it's too far away, too small, and too undeserving a place.

Much, much too far away. Questionable local economy. Small media market. What kind of fan base could be developed? To broadcast games played there to the mainland would require very strange starting times for contests.

Too much travel, and I'm not sure if there would be enough of a fan base there to adequately support a team.
