I have seen about half of these and plan to see the remainder. Set in the 20's/30's, so the characters are a bit "affected" in their mannerisms. The episodes viewed so far are 2 part-ers, and they tend to drag a bit... a lot of dialogue, much like the Whimsey and Linley series. I like Peter Davison better as "Dangerous Davies" in "The Last Detective". Still... my guess is you will enjoy these.

Fabulous, faithful to the original Margery Allingham books but not slavishly so. Campion is a delight.
