Gyro--pronounced "Yeero" from whence we got the name Hero sangwich--is made of finely-pressed Greek-spiced lamb and beef, sometimes with turkey on the top and bottom of the spit.

Gyro joints are always late it seems. I'm not
sure about the "gyro meat", its like a lamb and beef hot dog. I get falafel these days.
