Never, ever buy something promoted in one of these odious poppers. And get a swatter that reliably kills them.

Definitely annoying, just wanted to add, sites with pop-up ads that require pop-up blocker be disabled to use the site thus FORCING you to deal with otherwise blockable junk.

1) Not all of us can afford a FREE dream vacation. 2) We don't want to see you in your birthday suit (no matter how hot you are) 3) Smilies are overrated and so are wallpapers. 4) We don't really give a crap if we're your 10000th visitor today. someone else already got that anyway.

Advertising gets more intrusive and obnoxious every day.The only way to stop this trend is to boycott any product shoved into your face too frequently or relentlessly.IF WE DON'T BUY IT,the morons who are shoving it down our throats will be out of a job.(PLUS the price will come down drastically).

Slows my computer down like nothing else! Half of the time it actually forces me to reboot the whole comuter, as it causes it to freeze...

With an army of pop-up blockers and spyware and malware removers, I haven't had too many problems with 'em lately. However, the advertising people don't get the point. They've got this new kind of pop-up now, that is PART of the site that you're on, and if you scroll down, it scrolls down with you; it moves across the screen and over the text you're trying to read. If that's not annoying, I don't know what is.

ive been battling spyware off and on lately and i will say this if it was ever the misfortune of any of those that created this problem were infront of me rest assured it would be a cold day in hell before they would be able to do it again. they are such a problem that i would never consider anything they offer even if i needed it.

I hate this so much. Lags me like heck and scared the pop-up contains virus or something.

Once pop-ups were little more than a nuisance. I would shake my head at the doofy little cartoon advertising by mynumbnuts.com or some other stupid plug in disbelief and wonder over what marketing wizard's business model thought this could sell products. I guess the Dot.com boom and bust was fueled on these bogus Internet ads and the unfulfilled promise of delivering revenue. I can honestly say, I have never bought 1 penny of product based on an ad from the World Wide Web. But now these pop-ups are even more insidious. Make the wrong click and you now download spyware and/or adware. You download that, you're better off downloading a virus. Though I have been lucky, I have heard of computers whose RAM is so suffocated by the Spyware, that you literally can do nothing but get barraged by endless pop-ups from porn sites. This I feel is cyberterrorism and any dude caught doing it should be thrown in a prison full of lifers with no other interest other than their enjoyment in seeing if they can ram their penises through every orifice in Spyware Dude's body simultaneously.

Lately this has been a major problem for me. I know I must have picked up some kind of spybot or whatever and it's going to town every single time I open a browser. I've tried 2 removal tools to dump the little buggers but they just keep pouring in! I'm going to start taking notes on the most aggressive ones and begin ranting loudly about them whenever and wherever I can. I definately will NOT be using any of their services or products.
