03/21/2005 | Totally true. And for good reason, I mean what if the person is actually innocent and there was a missunderstanding in court. If you put criminals in a life prison they'll just eventually kill themselfes anyway cause' one: most of them aren't mentally sane and two: it's so miserable injail you just kill yourself. The death penalty rots!

03/15/2005 | I oppose it because a) it is revenge, not justice; and more importantly, subtly, and often missed, b) it denies the guilty the opportunity for repentance and the subsequent healing which can occur on all sides. So am I a bleeding heart? No, I just see that more good comes from NOT killing than killing.

02/27/2005 | I can understand why someone would be against the death penalty. It's the fact that the same people who say putting a serial killer to death is playing God, but putting an unborn child to death is a matter of choice.

02/25/2005 | Not a myth, most are. Strong argument: our court system (while it is the best in the world) is not perfect, mistakes can be made and you can't un-execute somebody. Weak argument: the rest of the world 1). hates us, 2). thinks we're barbarians, 3). is much more enlightened and intelligent. Spare me.
