Grab your KJB and Compare Exodus 3:14 with John 8:58 Jesus was the I AM in Exodus, and also in John, He is the Son of God, and you have His word on it, take His word for it, not DyanSword's word, you have the scriptures I just pointed out.

God the Son has always existed and will always exist. Jesus the man lived only 33 years.

I just thought of a theological question that I must bounce off the Jesuit Fathers for an answer. Orthodox theology holds that Jesus, God the Son, has two natures and two wills, human and devine. The question is this. Did God the Son, always have the two natures and two wills or only have them from the birth of Jesus. I would think that He always would have had them as this would cause too many theological arguments. Search your Bibles please, and give me the answer.

A banal statement of the "feel-good" variety, proclaimed by certain people as a means of transcending the "failures" of this world (perfectly created by an infallible entity, for those with the moxie to appreciate the irony), and entering into a coersively paternalistic relationship that feeds off the insecurities of both parties to the detriment of an imagined "eternity". To be fair, an impromptu polling of nontheists would find an overwhelming majority in favor of conditionally-extended lifespans, but that same majority would apply that time to the like-minded benefit of future generations (as opposed to assuaging and aggrandizing the childish machinations of an emotionally-challenged deity). Nontheists would also argue the premise of the subtitle; why does matter (which is known to exist) have to have a "creator", while "God" (whose existence is NOT known) doesn't? Utilizing our basic laws of physics, the material omniverse could have come about ex nihilo (particle/antiparticle pairs formed through quantum vacuum fluctuations; intense theory that keeps the eyes and heads of serious applicants spinning independent of one another), which could factor in countless possibilities that a forum such as this could never hope to tackle. We all brace ourselves for an eventual "ending"; some of us just have a harder time of going about it and invent systems to surmount these fears.

That is absolutely right! Since Jesus is God (not God the Father), this would make sense. To say anything else like Jesus was an angel or just a good man or that He was created would take from the divinity and Lordship of Christ. Jesus is Almighty and eternal (the beginning and the end, the first and the last.)

UPDATE: Ignatius-J-Reilly, God doesn't ignore any of his creation, he created them. The point you made about the dinosaurs proves nothing; there are many of God's creation that are not mentioned in the Bible. The men who were inspired by God to write the Bible lived in the areas you mentioned and that was pretty much the civilized world then. The Great Commission in the Bible speaks of the rest of the world and our responsibility to it. You are trying to understand something supernatural and your mind nor mine can completely do this. I understand your frustration in wanting proof for everything; even Thomas who personally knew Jesus always wanted proof. Many things in the Bible are accepted by Christians with Faith knowing that he is God not us. I have seen miracles, but I cannot prove them to you because you doubt me too. I pray that you will someday get what you are searching for and that believe it or not is a revelation of God in your life. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: In the beginning the Word was with God and the Word is God. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is eternal.
