I've also tried to drink it before i go to bed after a long night and I still get quesy.

 | drkseph (4) 01/15/2008 | Alcohol dehydrates you, so drinking not only before you go to sleep (hard to do i know, makes you feel worse when your drunk) and once you wake up will help flush your system and rehydrate you. Best if taken with juice and gatorade because of the vitamins in fruit juice and the electrolytes in gatorade.

 | zuchinibut (36) 03/17/2006 | A hangover is simply a result of your body's dehydration. Retaining water is the only way you can ease a hangover.

 | delbomber (3) 03/13/2006 | A couple of pints before bed and your head will thank you in the morning. Works every time. If you have the discipline (and can stand the heckling), switching to water for the last few drinks of the night certainly gives you a headstart. This really isn't a hangover cure, but a hangover prevention.

 | Djahuti (54) 11/25/2005 | Many of the ill effects of a hangover are due to dehydration.Water works! It's even more effective if you drink H20 WHILE you are drinking your alcoholic beverage-that cuts down on the pain the next day.

 | minkey (36) 08/07/2005 | Yeah it's great...but I can't get myself to drink water the next day. Cups of coffee is all I want and that's just a momentary fix, if you could call it a fix, it probably does more harm that good. I gotta stick my head under the faucet before I go to bed or I'm in trouble...

 | Paul2505 (0) 07/29/2005 | Works great. Drinking a good sized glass or two of water before going to bed (at least a half litre or so) will reducde the severity hangover in the first place, and drinking more water the next day will help your body flush out the alcohol and rehydrate.

 | bluetarbaby (8) 07/26/2005 | This works best for me. and eating. All the other stuff is myth in most cases. MAGELLAN, I think I do, but pop ups are the only visuals I can see. So, I don't know. Ads, and popups, I can actually see perfectly, even if their moving around across the screen. What should I do?

 | Skizero (13) 03/15/2005 | works like a charm but you usually have to drink the equivalent of the booze you imbibed, which means when you come home drank, fill up a gallon, and prepare for the long haul. and then waking nearly every hour to piss.

 | marle35 (0) 12/05/2004 | Water, H20, it is good to drink to prevent and cure hangovers. It is much better to go to the bathroom frequently than to suffer the effects of a miserable hangover.

 | Da Minx (1) 10/09/2004 | How many of us drink water before a serious drinking session? If you can finish off the night with gallons of water, then you're off to a good start to help prevent a hang over, flushes through your system and eases the chance of dehyrdation.

 | CastleBee (81) 09/14/2004 | They say if you're really thirsty you're already dehydrated. So, water does help a hangover but it's even better as a preventative. Drink water before, during and after you've had your other beverages. You might want to reconsider the ibuprofen Eschew because combined with alcohol it can be really hard on your liver.

 | sperryc (29) 05/20/2004 | This is sort of a no-brainer. But depending on the damage done, drinking water might not be enough on its own.
