When you have a hangover you are physically sick because you ingested poison. Your body needs recovery time and it is not advisable to try and excersise when you are sick. After all you don't excersise when you have the flu, so dont excersise when you have a hangover.

A good run will get your body back in top form. It is hard to get going, but the runner's high and oxygen intake will really do you some good. You have to beat that hangover into submission and show it who's boss.

doesn't work. you're sweat will just smell like booze and you'll get sick.

Sweating out the booze works well. It relaxes and refreshes you. I go to the bath house and steam it out there.

This works well, unless you are really, really drunk. In that case: don't try to sweat it out. I refer you to the suggestion topic of 'Make Yourself Puke.' This may happen voluntarily while working up a sweat when really, really drunk. We're walking a fine line.

It's definitely not magic, but it works. There's nothing like playing basketball at 9AM in the morning, after about 5 hours of sleep, and having the guy guarding you say something like does anybody else smell whisky?

If you want to BEAT a hangover, and not just mask it with a short-lived caffeine buzz, this is the way to go. It takes a little effort, but when you're done, you'll be ready for 'Round 2' at the bar.

Don't get me wrong, a 3 mile jog is no cakewalk when your head is pounding and you need to vomit. But if you can get through it you'll feel pretty good.
