01/16/2008 | Gatorade is very helpful to rehydrate you, since dehydration is one of the bigger causes for the symptoms of a hangover, as well as (among other things) a chemical called acetaldehyde, which is best countered by cysteine, something which you need to go to a specialty food store for.

01/11/2008 | I don't know if it has any real efficacy or it was a psychological "placebo" effect type-of-thing, but on mornings following a heavy drinking bout, I'd buy a bottle of it, and it at least seemed to make me feel marginally better (that and a handful of aspirin or, depending on the severity of the hangover, Vicodin, a shower, several cups of black coffee, and a bagel or something solid in my queasy stomach). When I wasn't drinking, I never touched the stuff (since I've given up the heavy drinking, I haven't had any Gatorade in a long, long time).

08/19/2006 | works for the most part, but I find I have to keep drinking it or ill just feel like junk again after a while. Oh well its fine with me cause gatorade is tasty!!

11/23/2005 | Better than water I suppose because it replaces electrolytes and what not, just make sure you can keep it down, that stuff's too expensive to be throwing back up.

05/15/2004 | My friend Meredith from Boston swears on gatorade and a power bar. Didn't do much for me though. But she's half my size so I guess I need 2 gatorades 2 power bars.
