I think this works. Not so sure about all that sugariness...maybe Vitaminwater instead? But replacing the body's nutrients is the way to go.

Gatorade is very helpful to rehydrate you, since dehydration is one of the bigger causes for the symptoms of a hangover, as well as (among other things) a chemical called acetaldehyde, which is best countered by cysteine, something which you need to go to a specialty food store for.

I don't know if it has any real efficacy or it was a psychological "placebo" effect type-of-thing, but on mornings following a heavy drinking bout, I'd buy a bottle of it, and it at least seemed to make me feel marginally better (that and a handful of aspirin or, depending on the severity of the hangover, Vicodin, a shower, several cups of black coffee, and a bagel or something solid in my queasy stomach). When I wasn't drinking, I never touched the stuff (since I've given up the heavy drinking, I haven't had any Gatorade in a long, long time).

works for the most part, but I find I have to keep drinking it or ill just feel like junk again after a while. Oh well its fine with me cause gatorade is tasty!!

Seems to work well.I've had days when gatorade was about all I could stomach,only to improve significantly awhile after the gatorade.

Better than water I suppose because it replaces electrolytes and what not, just make sure you can keep it down, that stuff's too expensive to be throwing back up.

My friend Meredith from Boston swears on gatorade and a power bar. Didn't do much for me though. But she's half my size so I guess I need 2 gatorades 2 power bars.
