Have had fewer hangovers with good booze and a fair amount of water between drinks. Haven't had cotton-mouth or even headaches for years.

Myth. Ethanol is ethanol, although your body may process it differently, depending on what you've had to eat, how quickly you drink, your general state of health, etc. I've had numbing hangovers from drinking excellent whisky, and barely a twinge from drinking some god-awful rotgut.

Better spirits have less fusil oil and that substance usually causes the hangover. That being said, too much of anything with alcohol will usually give you a hangover.

Messrs. Talisker, Glenmorangie, Glinlivet, Glenfiddich, Macallen, Grey Goose, among others that I can't remember (for obvious reasons) all hit me just as hard as Teacher's, Jim Beam, Gallo, Boone's Farm & others that I can't remember (for obvious reasons). The only time this 'cure' seems to work is for Tequila, but then again, cheap tequila treats me the same way, I think. I just can't rememb......

Doesn't work. I've been brutally hung over after an evening of drinking nothing but 18 year Macallan.
