Soda is a diuretic which dehydrates the body and thats what gave you the hangover in the first place, and caffeine causes the expansion of blood vessels and when the blood vessels in your head expand it puts pressure on the brain which is the cause of a headache. It may feel refreshing, but all your really doing is aggravating the symptoms and prolonging the healing process.

 | kolby1973 (32) 05/16/2004 | This has always been my favorite way to end a hangover. I can only remember one or two times this did not work. But usually after drinking a super Coke slurpee, I feel really good and refreshed. It gives me a little bit of energy as well. I highly recommend it !
