Lobos sucks. Plain and simple. DO NOT rent from them. They fix nothing, their buildings are falling apart, they will rent to ANYONE. We had a rat problem in the dumpsters behind our building. One of them came in the building and had babies. There was a baby rat in the WASHER. The freaking washer!! They got in because of the broken back door that was falling off and they claimed they were fixing for 6 months. I recently bought a house, and they tried to get us to stay and gave us a hard time about moving even though we gave them 4 months notice. The garage roof fell apart and dented our car, they won't fix it. They've come into out apartment with no notice to change a shower head, while we weren't home. They left my door unlocked. They don't pay the utilities and they're shut off all the time. We have went many hot days with no water because they won't pay the bill, and they'll lie and tell you there was a water break, but I called the water company and they said that the bill was 200... Something needs to be done about these idots. Lori, Tara, Cally, the maintenance men - all idiots. They keep getting away with it. There apartment building in Bethel Park is a dirty piece of shit that is about to fall down. I wish someone would do something about them! Any ideas? How can all these people have issues with them and they continue to get away with this??? Also, see...www.lobosmanagementsucks.com

As a real estate agent I am shocked and horrified!Poor unsuspecting people filling out credit applications do not get their security deposit back once they've filled out a credit application, after asking why and not getting a clear answer. I called for myself so I could help my client understand but after speaking with them as an agent they have no good reason and further more couldn't even answer my questions. I also suggest maybe before handing a potential renter an application that they might want to read what they are handing out themselves ;) I would suggest looking up Fair Housing Laws.

First i will start off with the location so you all know: 2907 Voekel Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15216 This is an apartment in Dormont. After reading all of these review, i realize that it all still holds true. It has been almost a year that i have lives in this building and i think after experiencing all of the seasons in this building i can fully complain about it. First off they really DON'T CARE. When i got there i could tell that they never really cleaned the place after the last tenant, they just painted over everything. Then when you call them about something and they never respond. My sink was clogged when i moved in and they never came to unclog it. Thank god for family because i had to get my cousin to come and unclog it for me since i could not use the sink. Luckily i have got to use my water since once a month, we get a notice posted on our door by the water company that our water will be shut off if we don't pay. Second. One of the stained glass windows was broken and when i... Read more

Lobos management should be run out of Pittsburgh. They prey on the young. They fix nothing without monumental amounts of complaining. i.e. call the health department that make them move pretty quick. Shame on the city of Pittsburgh for letting this company continue. Perhaps it is time to contact Mayor Luke and see if we can run their crooked smelly asses out of town.

I am uncertain where the address that is listed along with this Lobos Management listing is located – this review is for the company as a whole, not one particular property: I won’t get into the gory details of every horrible experience I had during my time renting from Lobos, because I could go on for pages – I just wanted to say that before I rented from them, I did look them up on the web and saw all of the terrible reviews - but I rented from them anyway. I figured that I was getting a great deal and that would far outweigh any minor inconveniences that I may experience with them. I also "took the reviews with a grain of salt", assuming that the only people who post to these forums are disgruntled tenants - and that there must be just as many satisfied customers as dissatisfied. Please, do not make the same mistake I did, please trust that everyone is telling the truth with no exaggeration. The people who run and work for this company have no conscious and no sympathy for thei... Read more

As previously, though less than eloquently stated by other tenants, Lobos response to each and every scenario is simply lies, smoke and mirrors. My daughter's apartment on 5th avenue in Shadyside has toxic mold growing in the bathrooms. There have been nearly a half dozen calls placed to try to remedy the situation from this well-known and documented health hazard. The calls have all been quite reassuring. We'll have someone out there tonight, in the morning, whatever the case may be. However, no one ever shows up. When they magically lost my daughter's lease for the following year, they began showing the apartment. When they showed the prospective new tenant the bathroom, they assured the individual that they mold problem would be remedied before they moved in. My daughter's roommate exclaimed, "Well, we have been calling for MONTHS about it! Why havent they fixed it for us?" The nice woman (All the individuals showing the apartments are as sweet as the day is long exclai... Read more

Lived on Waverly Street in Castle Shannon. Go to Best Buy, get a box and live in it. That will be a much better experience than the one you will encounter if you rent from these people. If you rent from these people you have no one to blame but yourself.

Lobos Management is THE Pittsburgh slumlord, do not be mislead by their average Better Business Bureau rating. I have lived in their apartment in Squirrel Hill, and 14 or my friends and classmates have rented from Lobos at various other locations. Let me start by saying, I understand that Pittsburgh real estate doesn't exactly have the highest standards. There's the occasional cockroach, sidewalks and parking lots are barely shoveled enough to keep up with our winters, buildings are old and pipes burst, heating fails - I get it. Shit happens. The problem with Lobos is that when you have a problem, not only are you neglected (I had no stove for 3 months, no fridge for 2, and no electricity in my bathroom for 5), but you are accused of being a bad tenant for complaining. When I began voicing my complaints on a regular basis, my rent (which I always pay early), magically disappeared from their mail and I was threatened with eviction until I reminded my landlord that both of my par...
