A great value weapon. Way cheaper to make than the Thompson and fairly reliable. Still carried in many tanks as a personal defense weapon well past the Vietnam era. Close range only.

Not bad.... not bad at all. With 32 rounds of .45 cal bullets, and mass produced, is not to bad AT all! Think about it. about 4/10 of all allied troops and a thompson or grease gun. Defineatly at sturdy 4.

Massed produced in WWII out of stampings. Used the .45 caliber pistol round. Not as well liked as the Thompson.

Not a bad weapon overall. Developed as a cheaper alternative to the Thompson, to some extent it followed the German design philosophy of the MP-40, i.e., primarily a stamped weapon. I carried one in 'Nam from time to time.
