My favorite show on this channel is City Confidetial. I also like Cold Case Files, and the many movies they have made.

Most of the popular stations have programs that I enjoy and there are several on A & E. I like shows like Cold Case Files and others of that genre but I am surprised that they have seen fit to air programs such as Growing Up Gotti. While there is a market for that kind of programming I would have expected it to air on some other channel better suited to that kind of show.

this used to be a good station. was often you could find a respectable documentary on it, or one of the stellat bios in the biography series, perhaps some decent original program. it was a nice balance. i believe they called themselved A&E: Arts and Entertainment. I work in mid-town Manhattan and less than a block away from my office is a huge set of billboards advertising A&E's(now the Art OF entertainments) new programming. here are three examples: See Arnold Run(all about Arnold schwarnezwhatsits run for governor) a reality show about a bounty hunter, and last but not least those adorbale members of the murderous Gotti family in Growing up Gotti. this is the product of the station that used to bring me Biographies on everyone from Christ to Santa Claus. and now i get the offspring of murderous prvilliage acting up in a reality show. thanks but no thanks. three stars for past accomplishments
