Sorry, but to me this sounds like the weasel worded screed of a writer with a file full of publishers rejection slips.

That's refreshing to know. I write sometimes and many people feel that I should share my talent with the world, but how can you share something so personal that may not be understood or appreciated. On the other hand, it could reach out to the right audience and perhaps even help them.

Okay, but maybe you could do a little of both so you have money for the "true" stuff? Bobby Darin wrote Splish Splash specifically to make money to be able to do what he really wanted.
