It's not that important to me, but there are a very few things that I watch.

Not important. Ask me again when baseball is in mid-season and you'll get a different answer.

Not important at all. I think TV is quite frankly crap. I like some of the American imports such as "Ugly Betty", "Prison Break", "Lost" and "Dawson's Creek" and if I'm really, really bored I'll watch E!, but the only time I ever watch TV is for the news or documentaries. I think reality TV shows are a waste of money and I'm sick of seeing the same talentless, faceless idiots on British TV complaining about their "hard life" when there are nurses and others in the public sector who take home not even 1/3 of what these TV "personalities" take home.

I don't have much time to watch TV, but I like watching anything that I can learn from. Discovery, Learning channel, travel, animal, pretty much anything.

I don't know if I would say it's important, but I do have the TV on a lot. Sometimes it's just for background noise as total silence is a little deafening to me. During the week, it's FOX News and sometimes MSNBC. If there's nothing interesting me news wise, I might flip over to Comedy Central and catch a MadTV rerun. On the weekend, I watch The History Channel, and I've found myself getting addicted to The Best Week Ever on VH1. Survivor and American Idol are probably the only prime time shows I watch regularly, though I do sometimes catch King of the Hill and South Park. Football in the fall. Sometimes baseball in the summer, but I prefer that on radio.

I like watching basketball, nascar and Gilmore Girls. I usually go through all of the Starz listings, see if any movie's coming up worth watching, save it to memory and whenever it's coming on, watch it. Other than that, not important.

Only time I really watch TV is when there's an interesting documentary on, or a series that looks vaguely intelligent. Otherwise I'm more than content to either watch films or read.

Not everything but I will make time for some shows. Then again, my DVR means I don't have to. I can record the silly bastards and watch them whenever.

Haven't turned it on since December, i.e. three months. I just can't do TV. Watched it when I was a kid, though.

I watch TV out of boredom and when my eyes are too worn out from the computer screen to read. But I do so with the full knowledge that I could be doing better things with my time. If you were to weed out the interesting things on television you would be down to about 15 minutes viewing time per day.

I tend to watch it a lot, but mostly the same stuff. Big news buff. If there is a good movie playing I'll watch that. I watch playoff sports too.

Admittedly I watch TV every day unless Im on a trip. It is my relaxation time.(about hour and half a day) I watch very little if any prime time tv. No sitcoms no drama series, I watch INFORMATIVE TV. Discovery, The History Channel, or sports or sports documentory, sometimes VH1 for some of the documentarty type programming there. I Love many of the Behind the music Pieces.

TV is pretty important right now in my life, because it is all the entertainment that my fiance and I can afford. We don't have the money to spend a night out, so books and TV are our ways of entertaining ourselves.

Very, very important!!!! Not because I watch TV programs but because I'd miss all the road Jets games, and many Mets and Nets games- I don't think I could bear it!

It was never all that big in my life, but now it's increasingly less so as the quality of the shows on the Discovery Channel seems to have deteriorated into more and more mindless reality home-decorating junk. I hardly even turn on my TV anymore when I'm by myself, and if I do, it's usually to play a video game.

TV is not really that important to me. However, there are a few shows that I enjoy watching, such as Jag, Joan of Arcadia and the Law and Order shows, but I don't watch every single episode. I also watch the Friday night fights on ESPN. I really don't like to pay the prices that they want for the big PPV fights, buy on rare occasions, on a fight that I feel is worth it, I'll go ahead and order a fight. I also like some news shows and PBS stations.

T.V. exists to exploit the gullible.I can remember when cable T.V. first became available and the deal was that you would't have to watch Commercials since YOU were paying for your entertainment. What ever happened to That? Seems the dumbed down populace also has an abysmally short memory.

TV is part of my daily ritual. I like to start the day off with a good escapist cartoon to get the day cracking, such as Dave the Barbarian or Garfield & Friends. I also have been regularly watching Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures regularly. Of course, I watch Star Trek on a very regular basis, including the most recent spinoff, Star Trek: Enterprise. I also watch escapist sitcoms like The Andy Griffith Show and Green Acres. Finally, as part of Operation Infinite Olympics, I watch Olympic-sanctioned sports, primarily the International competitions. Most recent sports have been curling, tennis, skiing, bobsledding, beach volleyball, and soccer. Television helps me relax and gets my creative juices flowing. I usually watch about 2 hours a day on weekdays and about 5 hours a day on weekends.

Sports - that's it. I have TV but I seem to be alone in that opinion.
