If you think the Republicans are theocrats, take a look at these men.

I ran into a group of these at the local state fair. They didn't want to get into the nitty gritty of what they stood for. They seemd to agree that legalizing pot was a good idea. Other than that, I can't see they made any sense.

I've started checking this party out and they are starting to look very good to me. American Sovereignty is at the top of my list and they seem to feel the same. Democrats and Republicans only mention it when it's time to have elections. I'm tired of the two old parties. They are like two old boxers who keep slugging each other but get nowhere. Their time has come and gone. It's time for a new party!!!!!!!!

New on the scene and refreshing. Some of the stands made by this group make too much sense and that is why it is going no where.

Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats care very much anymore about a little thing called the US Constitution. I don't buy the argument that a third party "can't win". This party is worth a closer look.

I will be voting for this party in 2008. I know many, including people in my family, will say that I am "wasting" my vote. However, I disagree. The only wasted vote is the one not used. This is the party that will lead America towards the future in the way our Founding Fathers intended.

If anyone is a true christian than they should vote for a real christian party and not someone like Bush who says that he is a christian when in fact he worships pagan idols when visiting japan. you can tell them by there fruits not there words

These people are pure evil disguised as light. God save us from your followers.

i like this party because it is one of the biggest paleoconservative parties in the country. they are religious but they arn't against any non-Christian reigions except ones that create hate, death, and destruction. this party, with their paleoconservative beliefs, is a very good party. the main concern that i have is that the party is a little too religous for a lot of the voters out there. religon is important. HOW WOULD WE DECIDE WHAT SHOULD BE LEGAL OR ILLEGAL WITHOUT RELIGON? religon is essental to a good country plus it is the only defence against greedy things (i.e. abortion, euthanasia, communism, greed).

These people are scary. If a member of this party were to ever become president, this country will become a Christian version of Iran.

People who let every aspect of their lives be ruled over by a book which may have been written by some old drunk goat raper are just crazy.

Interesting.

Of all the third parties that I would look to to help with changing our nation for the better this is the one I support. I am registered Republican and born-again Christian. Our constitution was founded on Judeo-Christian values and this party understands that. I support some, not all of Micheal Peroutka's ideas. I am also in the military but do not share his idea about removing women from combat. If women want to be treated equal then that is part of the package. If they don't want combat then they shouldn't join the military. Hear me closely, nobody who doesn't want to be in combat, man or woman, should join. However, I support the CP and will do what I can to see their party grow.

May have possibilities someday. Just voted for GWB cause I had to pick my prick. On way out of polls I nabbed this party platform doc. They DID read the Constitution. Platform matches it, other than that stupid preamble about living under Jesus Christ (, for Christ's Sake:)
SirSengir 10/22/2004
Dangerous and scary platform, including willfull misinterpretation of the constitution. Republicans are left-wing compared to these nutjobs.
jagman28782 10/14/2004
You can't call the Constitution Party anarchists, that's just off. The Constitution Party will be the next viable third party.
Harpuia 10/06/2004
Sorry, I just don't see enough about the Constitutional party's views to actually support them. Sure, they're socially conservative, but they also plan to eliminate key areas of government that are essential to the life that the Constitutional Party wants us to have. If it weren't for things like the FCC (which Peroutka said he'd eliminate), we would hear all these swears on TV, and again, stuff that is against Biblical code. Just a bunch of anarchists in my opinion only right-wing, not left.
HalJor 06/07/2004
Am I the only one who sees the hypocracy of restoring the US government to its constitutional limits and US law to a Biblical code? This is the most narrow-minded, right-wing organization I've ever seen. Read the platform -- it's scary!
ronbu 05/26/2004
If the Constitution Party were in power, America would be much better off. You would get to keep much more of your money, the economy would boom because businesses would have to pay far less taxes, people would have more money to give to charity, moral leadership would be much better. Michael Peroutka is definitely the best man running for President in 2004, but many conservatives are worried that voting for Peroutka would split the conservative vote with Bush and would lead to a Kerry win.
