Good singer, but not the best. Very unique.

  An amazing enigmatic vocalist. Able to express and punctuate words and phrases uniquely. Delivering spine tingling performances has a huge range.

An amazing songwriter and producer. His credentials speak for themselves... Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Mott the hoople. An amazing back catalogue. 26 or more solo Albums .

And as a guitarist.... he played all the guitar on His Diamond Dogs album inc the classic Rebel Rebel riff. Anyone who writes a riff like that, is a good guitarist!  Plays many instruments.

He would be a good frontman. Great performer, versatile and still strong voice. His guitar playing is quite basic though.
