Great for all types of skiers, I think it is especially great for beginners. The amenities in the village/town are great as well.

I had fun there. Its popular with Denver folk.

The skiing at winter park is fantastic. The locals are incredibly friendly. You can't beat the value. I reccommend The Zephyr Mountain Lodge!!

Great value, great skiing!! Winter Park is great for all ability. The have a great ski school. Mary Jane offers world class mouguls. You rarely wait in a lift line. There is lots of variety from bowls. to trails to glades. You won't be bored. The skiable terrain is vast. Its location on the continental divide insures it catches the snow storms both from the north a south. They have a high number of powder days. The folks are friendly, no pretentious airs. It's an awesome mountain!!!

Great for day trips from Denver, but doesn't have the quality to be a destination resort. Those flat catwalks make my shoulders hurt just thinking about all the poling...

Good skiing, often when snow is slight with good runs. The town is very small and hasn't grown like other places, maybe because the trip here can be a hairy experience and take some time. Also consider that I've skiied here just twice and as a day skier at that, so I might be missing something.

One of my favorites. Great runs for skiers of all levels. It also doesn't seem to get as crowded as some other resorts.
