I hate little dogs with loud barks. I had a stupid neighbor (a low IQ couple actually) who had this tiny little black dog that yelped and yelped. It actually woke me up twice at 4am and I had to call the cops on them. I'm glad they moved. I didn't want to resort to something that would have made me a target for those idiots at PETA. I wish we could systematically make those loud little dogs extinct by completely halting their breeding, but then I know old ladies and low IQ couples would collectively whine about it.

Yeah, those damn yippie dogs. I particularly hate those Jerryrubin Terriers and those Abbiehoffman Hounds.

I can handle those little rats with no problem. Big dogs barking at 3 am piss both me and my wife off. The last one that did that, my wife turned the hose on it. That's when we found out that the owner's had abandoned it after moving out

I wanna let a pack of hungry lions or tigers into my neighborhood to eat all the annoying yappers!

My toy poodle used to do this constantly. If I rated this then, I would've given five stars. But we've handled the situation and he doesn't bark nearly as much anymore. He still gets at it sometimes, and it's still an annoying sound, but I've learned to deal with it better.

there were some chihuaha (i don't know how to spell it) that lived near my friend's house and their barking got so shrill that i wouldn't go anywhere near that house until the owners moved away.

Our neighbor has one of these. Even worse than it's barking is when it starts whining. Of course it's favorite time to start whining is about 10 minutes after I get in bed.

I'd make a joke about Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, but the facespacebookers would not know what the hell I'm talking about.

I'm an insomniac, and frequently take a stroll in the neighborhood in the wee hours to see what houses look like suitable burglary targets or who left their car unlocked.  There's one house that has a trio of little fur-rats who sit on the front window sill and bark as I walk by.  I've taken to standing and waving at them until I see lights come on in the house, then strolling casually away.

I love animals, I do.  But is it so wrong to want to punt a yappy little bastard if you put a doggie-size parachute on it? People who have yappy dogs and carry them around should have a bark collar on them-- whenever the dog is yappy, the owner gets electrocuted.

Why do people buy these dogs? Can I even call them dogs?

I don't have much personal issues with this, as all of my small breed dogs have actually been rather quiet compared to horror stories I've heard from other dog owners. In theory though, I WOULD find it annoying, but could tolerate it as long as it didn't continue through the night resulting in my being awake 24/7.

Being a dog groomer and vet clinic employee I hear this enough at work. I also work in a kennel of larger dogs but most are "voice modified" which helps a lot. Also my guys are bigger than the yippy little dogs so they bark but I hush them up after a few minutes. I don't want to hear them so I know my neighbors don't. I have a neighbor I share a fence with that has big dogs but has a bichon that sits at the fence and barks constantly. I often yell at him too. Not fair that mine can't bark but he can!!!

At two in the morning this makes me contemplate some serious animal cruelty.

Little yippie dogs or big yappie dogs will drive me right up the wall if they bark continuosly for what seems like hours. Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy because it seems like I'm the only one this bothers. If it doesn't bother the owners of the dog that it never shuts up I know it bothers them to have to listen to me screaming out my window telling them to shut their dog up.

These animals should be turned into zoo food.

I love dogs.I know that most of the time they are trying to do their job. We have a shih tzu, who can be very yappy. Sometimes she will just sit there and bark at nothing. that can be a bit annoying. she especially does this outside. We have quite a few dogs in our neighborhood and in the warm weather when they are outside more one bark from a dog gets them all going. they just all chime in. It does not bother me for the most part except for when they just do not let up.

I love dogs. But it's hard to remember that when one's barking its head off at a leaf that fell in its yard in the middle of the night.

ANY dog that doesn't shut up is an extreme annoyance. In some ways the big woofy dogs are worse because they are louder. Definitely a five-star irritating sound.

My chihuahua isn't really as loud as some small dogs. However, when he does choose to bark, I don't get mad or annoyed at all. This is his job...he is just warning that there could be danger in the vicinity...
