Alex is the reason I got an electric guitar. His chord voicings are so huge, often beautiful, but he never takes more space then the song calls for. His solos are intricate, yet full of feeling and always fit the song perfectly. He is the greatest ever!

Seen many times live. One of the best. Plays with passion, very controlled.

hte first real rock album i ever listened to 2112.It has stuck with me for 30 years.I still remember the story and lyrics. Farewell to Kings has also left alasting impression on me.In my opinion the way Alex is able pour himself into the sound he creates, and use his guitar as an auruitic (if thats a word) extension of what he is aiming to reveal or give to those that are listening, makes him one of the greatest guiartist in the world. He truely has the ability to make people feel what feels while he is playing.Try listening to the words the whole band can really paint the picture in your mind. j.l.posey 3/17/06

The powerful and textural guitarist from the Canadian power trio RUSH, Lifeson rates as one of the innovative, diverse and progressive rock guitar players. Some of the band's most well arranged work cohesive work is to be found on the albums, 'Moving Pictures', 'Permanent Waves', 'Power Windows' & 'Signals'.

I don't care if Alex Lifeson plays Mary Had a Little Lamb, he is perhaps my favorite guitar player and I am a drummer! I have been following his style for over 25 years and continue to be amazed at his ability and inventiveness. Kudos to you, Alex!
