i love the fact you put guitar/vocal where he quite clearly doesnt write his lyrics, the record company does as he is a feindish sell out that needs to be wiped from the anal beard of pop punk, also he doesnt even play the guitar, a guy thats not even credited as a band member does all the lead and probably write billie's riffs.

He was selling pot in high school and became a millionaire playing his punk rock before he was 20. He may seem sold out to some but to me he's an awesome musician and even more, a succesful entrepreneur.

This guy has some talent I will admit, but to put him ahead of some of the legends on this list would be a travesty.

Green Day is a second rate Buzzcocks/Boys/Undertones, but they're still better than most popular bands these days. The 'sellout' nonsense is just sour grapes.

I think Billie Joe is awesome. Not because he's a good looking guy but because he has a lot of talent behind him. And okay he may not be the best ever guitar player but he's still pretty damn good for the line of music that he's in. He has a beautiful singing voice and his lyrics are awesome! He's one of the few people to stand for something today, something which is rather important.

Yea newsflash, Greenday sucks and no member can musically compete with the rock legends of the 70's and 80's. It irritates me when people vote for this guy because of his physical appearance. Even so, how can you even tell what he looks like when he's wearing plaster white and black makeup and has his hair styled to be in front of his face?

Billie Joe is the best musician ever. Green Day is the most popular Punk Band in the world and it is because of Billie Joe. He Writes the songs that everyone loves and is a great person once you find out more bout him. And in addition to that, he plays so many instruments and is very very hott!!!

Why the hell should this arrogant, self-loving, talentless arsehole be in a supergroup? He is RUBBISH. Green Day are the most overrated band ever, and none of the members are even close to being worthy of an all-time supergroup.

i love Billie Joe more than anything else but some people are just sayin hes hot (WHICH HE SOOOOOOOOOO IS) but there is WAY more to BJ. if you know how he grew up and stuff you'd get it. and whoever said he sold out i just wana say that selling out is when you compromise your sound to sell more records and Billie Joe has NEVER done that EVER! he's just been him and thats why i love him! it makes me cry when i hear good riddance or wake me up when september ends because he is sooooooooooo talented and the world should know it. if you dont like green day then thats ok but i will always love Billie Joe (and his great sense of humor!) omigod, like, soooo hot. Okay ladies, and boys, it is obvious the man is good looking. But have you looked at his writing? Compare Green Day's lyrics to anyone else in the mainstream and realise the reason why Green Day is a big deal. Sure they dress nice and wear make up but the reason why Billie should have all this attention is because he and Green Day are ressurrecting rock and roll. Being good looking is something he had no control over, but what he has done with his hands is much more impressive. Get it?

I went to a Green Day concert and he basically was the "host" or whatever of the whole thing. He's really fun and hillarious. He's also EXTREMELY hot! Billie Joe is by far the best lead guitar/vocalist ever!

billie joe along with hte rest of greenday make me feel good everytime i hear a song about anti-war or some such things... billie joe has gone through so much in his life and he still manages to light up my day when i hear him singing or when i see him on my dvd... stuff goes wrong in my life a lot and i sit in my room just thinking about it and when i hear billie i get up and think "fuk it im still alive thts wat matters"... also when i was watching billie on my "bullet in a bible" dvd and i saw billie singing "time of you life" i cryed and thought "thanks green day"... rock on billie joe... thankx for making my day light up!
