Great med programs but mediocre in all others.

Johns Hopkins is recognized as the world leader for Biomedical Engineering. JHU's other Engineering Departments including Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and Geography & Environmental Engineering are all excellent. The student-faculty ratio in Engineering is very low and students therefore receive a lot of individual attention. Johns Hopkins graduate school of Engineering is extremely selective- JHU has one of the lowest acceptance rates.
