I didn't go to pre-school.

My father taught me to count by sorting nails and nuts and bolts into coffee cans.

When I was learning to count I remember just counting for the sake of counting, and thinking that it was a lot of fun. I never went to preschool, so I think I learned to count from my parents and from Sesame Street.
