Not the biggest, fastest or strongest, but Emmitt played with a lot of heart and had a nose for the end zone.

i hate to say it but emmitt smith was a great running back.he was fast and strong and had reasonably good hands. his blocking was marginal but since he was the one with the ball most of the time this did not matter much.

Emmitt is top notch.He has longevity on his side and durability.Throw in alot of desire and toughness and he is pretty close to the best of all time.Barry Sanders is the best by far though!

You have to give it to Emmitt Smith, he's the biggest reason why the Cowboys are as good as they are.

No doubt the greatest runner the Cowboys have ever had. One of the best in NFL history (but is overlooked because of the team around him in the 90's) and a sure Hall of Famer.
