 | Limpin' Trenchfoot (16) 07/31/2006 | Bread..as in stale and mouldy. 'Soft' (rock) as in limp and flabby.

They were the masters of the love song. If is their best. Other songs I can take or leave depending on my mood.

 | Penwah (0) 04/02/2006 | THE most romantic group ever on this earth - then and now. Those beautiful major 7th chords.....the word is "sweet."

 | oscargamblesfro (78) 12/10/2005 | One of the very worst mainstream groups of the early 70's, nearly every tune sucks. Respected session guys, but like Toto in both that respect and that they created mushy, wimpy , predictable Top 40/MOR garbage.

 | 93century (38) 06/22/2005 | I am 30 years old and i have been listening to Bread for many years. I got hooked on this band when my sister had The Best of Bread album. I thought this band was considered folk rock. About four years ago, i purchased the two CD set of Retrospective. It is much better than The Best of Bread. It has some great hits from Bread i have never heard before! Plus a booklet with pictures, and a biography of the band. Worth every penny!

 | garydavis9361 (3) 06/14/2004 | These guys practically invented the genre (most of the earlier artists in the list are better categorized elsewhere e.g. Simon and Garfunkel as folk-rock). They are the group I think of first when I see the term Soft Rock.
