Miss USA Shandi was the clear winner and I was very disappointed. I did find out that in Australia they don't even have a national pageant they " cast " a ladie to be Miss Australia which totally defeats the purpose of the pageant...all the other countries involved in Miss Universe have a national pageant where they compete against anywhere between 10 and 200 women.

Smokin'! I'm sure she'll fade into memory, as most other Miss Universe winners have, but it doesn't change the fact that she's a knockout. I would love to see her stretch her 15 minutes into more.
