 | SuKingsANDKnights300 (14) 12/30/2007 | Talking about Bush?. Causing more problems upon his nation, something a person cannot pick up weaponn personally and face the challenges he had caused upon others. Where is Ronald Reagan?. Where are people like Benjamin Franklin, Washington, and Truman. A trouble maker, who can't even attend war, and sacrifice himself for the sake of America. Let's talk about his failures, shall we?. Bin Laden is at loose. Nothing came out of Iraq. I just want American people to be safed, and wait for the right man who can lead them not into troubles, but connect their nation with the world, and make the world turns hatred of American people into a long lasting love. America can conquer the world, but that 's not the dream of what Americans are at. Americans need peace, and unhypocritical people. Let's see where the man who thinks unwisely, whose own politics fails him, and tie a rope around his neck. I mean "a rope around his own neck, not around the necks of any poor spirit-humble innocent American person". Does the man has a clear future for America? Absolutely not at all.

Since, as I type this, two border patrol agents are languishing in prison and Bush refuses to pardon them, he is truly a terrible President.

Hussein was not the one who paid hijackers to blow up those buildings. Iraq would never attack the USA, cuz they know that they would never have a chance. We should have left him alone and used all that money on our borders. Now, Bush is talking about Iran being the USA's worst threat. What next?? Are we going to attack Iran also and alienate every ally in the world. Its a lonely place being at the top. Sooner or later this country will fall very hard.
Now, of course, we cant leave. We have to finish what we started. 3 years into the war and there is little improvement. At least during our early years this country showed some improvement after gaining independence from the UK.

How about Jimmy Carter? For a year + as a High School student I felt like I had my ass whooped seeing the American hostages being paraded around on my national news. He did nothing but Talk Talk Talk and where did it get the USA???
Now we saw what happened when another Republican got in Office the hostages were released the day before.
I love the short term memories of all the left wingers. How long did you want to dick with Saddam? long enough to pass it on to the next generation??
Bush is not perfect but he put an end to Saddam and yes it was america's right to get rid of this despot considering no other country had the means or military power to do such.
I also Guarantee you George and any female White House intern are not playing with cigars and getting stains on her dress.

 | mattg (0) 04/21/2005 | This draft-dodging, former alcoholic/coke-head is just a tool for a political machine that's using moral issues and fearmongering as a diversion from their selling out the American people to corporate interests. Not to mention mounting of the biggest offense on civil liberties in the history of the USA, or the economy that he's doing nothing to fix. When the economy was doing well, he used it as an excuse to give his buddies a big tax cut. When the economy fell into the toilet, he used it as an excuse to give his buddies a big tax cut. Don't hold your breath, waiting for trickle-down economics to kick in - you can bet those people are investing nearly all of it overseas. With the federal deficit and the trade deficit at the worst levels in history, one wonders how much longer this can continue.

Now that a released report tells all what we already knew - Bush and his lap dogs were given no evidence of WMD's yet he lied to the world and made America look worse more than at any time in its history. Remember when they only lied about bl#wjobs instead of lying about phantom dangers that lead to 9+ thousand civilian deaths? America looks the other way and keeps pretending that everythings okay - the world isn't fooled. In the 80's many people thought of Ronald Reagan as the Anti-Christ, now it's George Wubaya's turn. And is it no wonder? In a very short while, we will all burn for his stupid and world-shaking decisions (as a lot of people in Iraq already have). Wait until he REALLY starts messing with North Korea's crazy boy-king, then you'll see what I mean! And did you get a load of that budget? Promises good things for all and then cuts veterans' benefits and education. Reagan also liked to cut veterans' benefits and education too. Woowee, even his father was said to try to apologize on his behalf for this load of BS. His plan for Social Security will add 80 million dollars to an already overbloated deficit. How do you like being sold down the river by your beloved President just because a few same-sex couples wanted to get married? Only the rich will survive the budget ax, but not the nuclear deluge this guy is gonna set off. Luckily, nuclear particles don't discriminate on the basis of class or anything else for that matter! Lets put it this way his name in history will go down a lot better than slick Willy's. Update: I don't think any President has faced any thing like President Bush is now facing. In most of the past wars we had an idea of who they were and where they were based. With the current threat the country is faced with an enemy that could be any where, goes by no rules of conduct and is led by a mad man that no one can find. The President is doing a good job considering what the country has been through. Considering the events of 2001 I am glad that we have a strong military presence in the middle east. It was Osama's goal to get the USA out of the region and it totally backfired on him.

It is only to be used when America is in danger. Iraq? Please. America was never in danger from Iraq. What a waste of money and military effort and not to mention thousands of innocent lives destroyed. Heres some facts:
-Bush did nothing when he was told that America was under attack.
-Bush took over 8 months and sent only 20,000 troops to find bin laden after 9/11.
-Bushes former cabinet members have come out and said that Bush was never concerned about bin laden, he had only been planning to invade Iraq
-Bush has openly admitted that he is not concerned about bin laden HELLO he attacked and killed thousands of Americans and this president is not concerned about him.......sick sick sick.
-No WMD were found. surprise surprise, hell I could have told you that would happen.
-Has no exit plan for Iraq.
-The troops in Iraq are under equipped and this president could care less.
-Cuts taxes only for the rich. ( you hicks in the midwest who voted for him arent too smart )
-Has the biggest deficet in USA history.
-Has made a fool of the USA to the rest of the world, making the united states by far the most HATED country.
-Bush was an alcoholic and a druggy.
-Bush cut over 2 MILLION JOBS.
-Bush allowed mercury levels in water to rise making it statistically a higher risk to get cancer.
-Bush's administration uses scare tactics to sucker his voters into thinking he is doing a great job of protecting us, and in reality people, if someone wanted to attack us that bad, believe me, they could do it.
-Bush's administration stopped and cancelled the many investigations on 9/11.
-Bush has no intelligence whatsoever and he can't even form a sentence.
Bush is pathetic, hateful, and most of all EVIL. or maybe hes just that stupid, either way, i don't know how anyone in their right mind would vote for someone this horrible.

Numbers to keep in mind.
Cost of converting social security to a private system 2 TRILLION dollars.
Number of prisoners verified as killed by torture in Abu Ghraib 5 (Schlesinger report)

Percent of prisoners arrested by mistake and kept in Abu Ghraib 70-90 percent (International Red Cross)
Year George W. Bush supposedly gave up drinking and doing illegal drugs 1986 at age 40.
Year he was spotted doing drugs at Camp David 1988 at age 42
Cost to kill a single Iraq (as of Sept 7) 6.5 million dollars (total war cost of $131,500,000,000 /20,172 dead Iraqis )
Number of new people below the poverty line in 2004 1.3 million

It was necessary to oust the taliban and go after al quada, but Iraq is just a sad tragedy. Bush also pulled out of too many treaties and pissed off quite a few allies and his treatment of the UN was a disgrace - using it to his advantage when it suited him and dismissing it as irrelevant at other times. Another thing is that unfortunately terrorism can never really be wiped out because its an ideological struggle(im not saying the ideology is right) and you cant quash whats inside someones head. What Bush should have done is gone on some good will missions to Arab countries offering to boost their health care systems and train their police, put money into schooling etc Trying to iradicate some of the cultural myths many in the arab world hold about the US. That would have been a more effective anti-terrorism tool in the long run. Its better to attempt to change someones mind about you then kill their neighbour. Fighting for peace is like fu*king for your virginity.

 | Deicide (0) 04/19/2004 | A few more things to make you sick that I just learned about our current president: He lobbied to triple the allowable amount of mercury in our water supply so that industry doesn't have to deal with environmental regulations. The current allowance is at already at a level shown to statistically lead to cancer. Bush is effectively allowing 3x more AMERICANS to get cancer from Mercury poisoning. I'm sure he really cares about us.
Secondly, we all know about Bush's tax cuts for the rich, but recently I've found out that a majority of poor people in the midwest are still supporting him anyway. If you are poor, Bush is your enemy. This should be obvious. Don't let things like the inheritence tax, which affects less than 1% of the population, cloud your vision. Then again, most of the poor people in the midwest probably don't access internet forums all that often. What a shame.
This guy brought us into a war based on weapons of mass destruction that he never found. He still hasn't brought justice to Osama Bin Laden, who he claims is responsible for 9/11, and who he used as an excuse to invade the Middle East in the first place. Now that he has pushed the UN aside and invaded Iraq on his own accord, he has caused even more hate toward the United States than there was before 9/11. How is going into Iraq and Afghanistan and killing people going to make them like us more??? How is supporting Israeli murder of Palestinians and segregation on a massive scale going to make the US more popular with the Muslim community? Bush is only making the situation worse for all Americans. His no child left behind policy is really a no rich child left behind policy, and his work for the environment is a bucket of lies. What has Bush done that is good for the people of this country???? If he is re-elected, I'm moving to Canada. He makes me ashamed to call myself American.

*I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US Treasury.
*I shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history (not easy!).
*I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12
month period.
*I set all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
* In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on
vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did!).
*After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided
over the worst security failure in US history.
*In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their jobs.
*I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history.
*I appointed more convicted criminals to
administrative positions than any president in US history.
*I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president, since the advent of TV.
*I signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than
any other US president in history.
*I cut health care benefits for war veterans.
*I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously
take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the
record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.
*I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.
*I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in
US history.
*Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Ondoleeza
Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.)
*I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously struggle against bankruptcy.
*I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world.
*I am the first president in US history to order a US attack AND military
occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the
international community, including American citizens.
*I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history (Ronnie was tough to beat, but I did it!).
*I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations to remove the US from the Human Rights commission.
*I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board.
*I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. I withdrew from the
World Court of Law.
*I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election
inspectors access during the 2002 US elections.
*I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate
campaign donations.
*The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds
in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).
*I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack
(and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force1).
*I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).
*I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government
contracts.
*I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.
*I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.
*RECORDS AND REFERENCES: I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available).
*I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during time of
war. (not yet been erased and can still be found)
*I refuse to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.

 | Falcon91Wolvrn03 (0) 03/25/2004 | To those that compare Bush to Hitler I say nonsense! Although there are a scary number of similarities, there are also some very important differences:
1. Hitler brought his country out of economic depression.
2. Hitler turned Germany into an industrial superpower.
3. Hitler reduced unemployment from 6 million to only 1.75 million.
4. Hitler significantly improved factory working conditions.
5. Hitler restored German pride after the humiliating Treaty of Versailles.
At least there's one thing we can credit Bush for above Hitler - Hitler was in power nearly 10 years before beginning any type of genocide against Jews, Bush began his genocide against Muslims almost immediately, and is on pace to break Hitler's record with the help of Ariel Sharon if given a second term. :-P As for making the world a safer place, 85% of the world's population currently think Bush is the greatest threat to world peace, and many despise the US for this. I sure don't think Bush made the world any safer - quite the contrary. >:-( The only thing positive he's done (to those that think these are good things) is that he's made the rich richer, and he brought Born-Again Christianism into Government decision-making.

 | abichara (62) 03/19/2004 | I think it's fair to say that George W. Bush has been one of the defining leaders of the 21st Century. I've already elaborated a lot about this president in other forums on this site, so I'll use this to put his Presidency in the context of his role as a world leader. I consider the greatest failure of the Bush administration, and also of the Clinton adminstration, of understanding our role in the world after the Cold War. Today, we are still pursuing a foreign policy similar to the one we had when the Soviet Union a competitor. We missed a major opportunity to revolutionize international relations. 13 years ago we had a chance to pursue a foreign policy that was more even-handed, one which didn't require propping up dictators against communists. This would have served American interests far more than the foreign policy we have had since the end of the Cold War We had a chance after 9/11 to change our foreign policy, Bush should have realized that our problems require that we pursue a multi-lateral strategy. Another major failure has been the delusional thinking that has led to the belief that the world system is uni-polar, that America is the only show in town. Yes, we are without peer militarily, but this doesn't change the fact that in reality the system is more multi-polar, we don't and can't act independently of other nations. Bush's foreign policy team believes that balance of power politics is unnecessary, but the truth is that we aren't a world empire, nor should we ever be. While I don't advocate collective security as a means to ensure peace, I believe that nations acting in balance behavior probably ensures peace much better. Bush's approach is de-stabilizing and making the terrorist threat even worse. Terrorism is one of the most prominent issues of the early 21st Century. This threat is worldwide and it has to be dealt with in concert with other nations, it is a law enforcement problem. Some in the Bush administration equate this fight to the 1930's struggle against fascism and Nazism, but the terrorists who attacked the United States were a ragtag group of disgruntled people. No one supports such violent and criminal actions. You can't equate these people to Nazi Germany and you can't equate Iraq or Iran to them. No comparison here. We must fight terrorism, but we must also acknowledge that unilateral foreign policy is aggrivating the situation even more. On domestic policy, Bush has been rather visionless. I agree that tax cuts are good for the economy, but I think that the cuts are not distributed well. He hasn't addressed problems with the Social Security system, on healthcare and even education, his pet issue. Seems to me that his only solution is to throw big subsidies at the large pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and agricultural firms rather than addressing real structural concerns. The result of these policies is that the government is swimming in red ink today; not a good thing. His solution to addressing problems with the educational system is promoting large new government programs without properly funding the programs in the first place, thus putting the burden on local and state municipalities. If Bush really had guts and vision, he would promote policies that increase the standard of living for all Americans rather than saddle them with even more debt. Overall Dubya's been a big disappointment, and this is coming from someone who supported him 4 years ago.

 | PraiseTexas! (0) 08/15/2003 | People need to get over that he had a DUI and bad grades a million years ago. Since then, he has shown himself to be a very good and incredibly honest politician. The economy isn't his fault either since he doesn't influence that. He has a very smart agenda for us and deserves to stay in office.

 | Moosekarloff (18) 08/14/2003 | This guy might be the lamest American President since Ronnie Rectum. Totally clueless on the economy and so beholden to the ultra rich taxcut darlings that you just want to barf. Still solidly into the idiotic deregulation mantra in the wake of Enron and other corporate scandals: this douchewad just doesn't get it, or care. He's doing a great job flushing the balanced budget, one of the very few accomplishments with any merit achieved by the federal government in the past 15 years, down the toilet, singlehandedly, and in no time flat. Think of all the issues he promised to address in his first term of office during Campaign 2000 that haven't materialized: shoring up Social Security, reining in health care costs, leaving no children behind, etc., just go down the list. This birdbath is also one of the greatest enemies of our environment, ever. It's so reassuring this draftdodging/AWOL, formerly skirt-chasing, boozechugging and coke-sniffing moron/thief is placing our military personnel in harm's way for the sake of his holy petrol war/lame attempt at keeping his public opinion poll numbers up there. What a misuse of this important resource, what an insult to our fighting men and women! Handjob sold the American public a major bill of goods a few years back when doubts were raised, for good reason, concerning his utter lack of experience by saying he would assemble the greatest team of advisors of all time to guide him while he did his on-the-job training. Well, that Dream Team turned out to be an idiotic cadre of political hacks, Cold War retreads and drooling hangeroners who have not only stopped the forward movement of this country in its tracks, but also set back the clock in several very crucial areas. And to top it off, in lying to the public about the WMD, the supposed Iraqi nuclear program and the direct threat by Saddam to the U.S./ties to terrorism, which, of course, were totally non-existent, to drum up support for his ill-advised military misadventure, Handjob is making that other fool, Bubba Clinton, look like an upstanding exemplar of honesty and moral probity. Face it, folks, this Dubya, the illegitimate President, is a total loser, and the best thing any American can do to help his/her beloved country is to make sure there's a regime change in Washington in 2004. Seeing that Handjob's public approval rating is at 56% in August, 2003, this appointed Chief Executive is certain to be a One Term Wonder. Thank Goodness!!!
