I rarely ride the bus anyway, but other than a friend (assuming I'm with one), I speak to no one else.

None. That's what I like about taking the train/subway to work. Everyone reads their papers or listens to their tunes, sips their coffee and minds their own business. Works for me.

There is always at least one person talking to him or herself, whenever I rode the bus, so If I did talk to myself, I'm sure I would fit right in.

Pass. Too many crazy people...

probably not much do not take the bus often.it usually seems quiet. i would not strike up a conversation with a stranger. If they started talking to me, I would be cordial and make small talk. I live a a good sized city so talking to strangers is not something you do a lot.

When will they get Wi-Fi access working in here, anyway? (if I am with a friend), or, (if I am alone... I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where you don't talk to strangers on the buses and trains.)

I hate buses. But if I were on a bus, I would probably make conversation with those who seemed friendly.

If I'm with friends we don't ride the bus, so if I'm on there I'm usually by myself. This is an open invitation for homeless people or mentally challenged people to sit next to me and chatter away. I don't mind, because I get a kick out of these people, and the other passengers are grateful to me for 'throwing myself on the grenade'. The conversations are usually pretty stupid, mostly them blithering away and me nodding and smilling and saying 'oh yeah'.
