No regrets. This Cheeseburger and Beer diet is working out pretty well for me.

Eventually they all fail. Diets don't work, at least not in the long run. You're better off learning how to eat right and exercise. That's the only way to take off the weight and keep it off.

Sure, it's disappointing, but it's not the worst thing in the world, unless you've got a serious health risk.

To me, it is not the biggest disappointment (especially if you are young.) Because there is always tomorrow. But it depends. If you are losing weight for a specific purpose but you procrastinate, then this can be a bigger disappointment especially if you were going to be in eg a specific competition or line of work which requires you to be a specific weight. Then you have to lose weight in the next month. You can't afford to procrastinate now. As you get older, it becomes a larger disappointment because of the fact your body isn't as healthy anymore and not as forgiving. But the biggest disappointment that could ever come continually failing diets is if you get a heart attack as a result of obesity. So many people fail because they go from 1 to 100 ie eating chocolates then to the diet, where they don't eat much and they just eat boring foods and exercise vigorously. You have to be smart and ease yourself into a diet. Healthy food doesn't have to be boring. Plus it is OK to occasionally eat that chocolate. That's why so many people fail, because they deprive themselves of chocolate altogether.

Unless you are too fat to move or your weight puts your health at risk, I don't think a failed diet should be too big of a disappointment. The majority of America is right there with ya.

If you fail at a diet, start over tomorrow. You have to really want to lose weight to be successful. Cutting back on food and exercising is the only way.
