Not at all a good security software. Earlier when I was using McAfee, I had to face virus problems 2-3 times. Each time I had to format my system.

Not impressed with McAfee which came free when I bought my Dell a few years back but found out that it didn't prevent attacks very well at all.

I had to call customer service to find out why a mccafee client was using my email address.well it was another foreign customer service headache.the first person hung up after not being able to help at all,the second person was a little better but not much,i finally had to ask for a supervisor.still no help at all and mcafee insisted my email account was duplicated by my provider,which turned out to be false ( and these guys are supposed to provide internet security?) finally the 4th person was able to understand english and help me get my email problem fixed.4 SUPPORT AGENTS LATER including a supervisor.thats scary for an internet security company.

Like most McAfee products, it's nothing to write home about, but it does work. Although there are a significant number that work _much_ better. It's probably a cut above Microsoft Antispyware (not hard to do) and on a par with Norton's, which places it toward the bottom of the stack in my book.
