I thought Linda was pretty cool...for a freak Mama! If she mentioned Mother Africa one more time I would have slapped her, but she was interesting, hard-working, and fair-minded.

Honestly, I felt no sympathy for her when she was voted off. I didn't enjoy her, but should, I suppose, be acknowledged for her individuality. Guess it just goes to show that being yourself won't always get you far in the game. Grant

Linda obviously cannot tell when people want her to back off. I found her way too weird and always seemed to be invading someone else's space. She gave me the creeps.

How could you people be soooo mean, this is a wonderful lady who survived Cancer. She should be a rolemodel to you all.Go girl. You make me proud. Keep being strong and spritual!

Sheesh people! Don't you have anything better to do than to pick on a remarkable woman?!? Linda is probably my favorite contestant out of all 48 survivors. It's too bad that people seem to be focusing more on her "Mother Africa" quirkiness than on her strong, caring nature. She obviously has a great respect for Africa and the people who live there; I really admired her for doing volunteer work after she was voted out of the tribe. And anyway, I enjoyed Linda's "Mother Africa" talk a lot more than the snide remarks made by other players. Linda, you will always be the "Ultimate Survivor" to me!

Survivor I had Sue... Survivor II had Jerri... it just wouldn't be Survivor if we didn't have someone fill in that gap! At least this time, you didn't last in the game too long, thankfully. "Ooh, Mother Africa hates you youngins... you'll be sorry you messed with Mother Africa"... "Mother Africa this!" "Mother Africa that!" If Mother Africa were really supporting you, why'd she let you get voted out? You were a worthless old shrew on the show, the worst of your old foggies "malignance". And you know, you shouldn't try forcing others to hug you when they don't want it....

I'm changing my comments, but not my rating. Linda may have been strange, but she sure made for interesting TV. When she flipped out before that challenge and tried to hug Lindsay, I was glued to the set while she came unglued. It's too bad that she had to go and not someone less interesting such as Kim P. Kim P. is not a bad person--just not interesting to watch.

I think Linda had been eating some magic mushrooms she found in the bushes of Africa, all she did was crap on and on about Mother Africa and crap. She played a mad old woman which Samburu should have voted off before Carl

The Earth Mother. I liked her, but she was weird. I DO like that she confronted the four kids and always made them seems ill at ease.

This woman is the most annoying witch ever!!! Her self-rightous mumbling about Mother Africa and the gods and goddesses drove me insane!!! She was on a 'game show' trying to win a million dollars. I am sure that Mother Africa has better things to do than hang around the fake tribes and TV cameras. Her sarcastic remarks to Lindsey and her "I am so much better than every one else" talk was super nausiating. My thanks to the young team members of Samburu for ousting one of the stupidest people I have ever seen. Now I can actually enjoy watching Survivor III.

I was sad to see her go. I think they should've given Teresa the boot. Linda was pretty funny with the way she handled Lindsey, and her talk about Mother Africa cracked me up. She should get a job for a motivational speaker. I'm not sure if she played the game very well though. She voted for Silas because he had a suspicious name. Give me a break. That is the worst reason I have been heard on Survivor for a while. I think she had a very manipulative sad to her and would be very dangerous later on in the game (I mean dangerous as a possible threat to winning). I can't blame the young ones for voting her off.

Probably the most irritating person in the group. Her frequent pleas to respect the "god and goddesses" are a joke coming from a woman who decided to show HER respect by playing on a game show in "Mother Africa." I bet she wears on people REAL fast.
