Ha, even the host said that the soccer player is a piece of furniture. Ethan did not have to be rude or stab others in the back because everything was handed to him on a silver platter; Final 4 immunity controversy, Kim winning the endurance challenge for him.

But its nice to see Ethan making a career out of reality tv and doing the homance thing(eww Jenna L).

Ethan and Jenna M as a couple are perfect. They are both good looking, smart and compassionate people. Brian, Boston Rob and Hatch are ugly leeches.

Well, I think Ethan played the game right. There were a lot of people on that show who were more boring than Ethan was and none of them made it to the end. If you're going to win the game of Survivor then you'd better damned well play the game the way that you feel right playhing it. At least Ethan came by playing this game with honesty rather than being sneaky and underhanded like Mr Silas was. What the hell is so sexy about Mr Gathier anyhow? I don't even find him to be even remotely appealing. Ethan has more charisma in his whole body than Mr Gathier has in his left testicle.

ethan zohn is probably the best player who ever joined Survivor... people who say otherwise are just ignorant... survivor is a game depending on strategy, and his strategy was to fly under the radar and guess what? it worked! just like amber brickh who rode rob mariano to the end... ethan is a totally cute, nice, talented guy... he can be a very good role model.

I think Ethan played a great game and should have went to the end! Also he's sooo sexy!! I love his hair!!

He's definetly eye candy, but still he's a hard worker, and a good player and that's what really counts.

I am leaving my comment here because of all the people out there who put Ethan down because he won Survivor Africa. I am very disappointed to see a growing number of people who have posted their thoughts and opinions on here only to say Ethan did not know how to play the game, as well as criticize him throughout. Obviously Ethan DID know how to play the game because he know carries the title of Soul Survivor and has one million dollars to show for it. He worked hard, although wasn't obnoxious and sneaky like other Survivor contestants. He didn't have to be rude or stab others in the back in order to win. He is a true player of the game and deserves everything he got.

Five reasons why I dislike Ethan....1. He is a hypocrite. Ethan calls himself a vegetarian, but eats chickens. 2. He's a cheap player (throwing immunity challenge to get rid of Sexy Silas) 3. Everyone consider Ethan to be a nice guy for playing with those poor children. Did he share his fries with them? NOO 4. He is so boring. 5. He is not a good player. If my memory serves me correct, Ethan did not win the most challenges. Lex did. And Kim J is the only reason Ethan won. I don't find Ethan attractive at all. This guy reminds me of Carrottop. Ugh!

Sure, Ethan is a nice guy. But he was a lousy contestant. Leather Kim gave him the million dollars. He did not do anything to deserve it. You can't name an Ethan moment.

I am not impressed with the invisible Survivor. Everyone expected the professional soccer player to win all the immunity and reward challenges. Yet Skinny Lex and Snakeskin Kim beat him. Yes Ethan is cute but he has no personality. All he did was fly under the radar. ZZZZZzzzz.

For the first time ever, I am trully glad for the person who won. Ethan Zahn was a decent man who played a very honest game, and not only did he win, but I don't think he ever got a vote cast against him. He is about as close to Rodger as we will probably ever see. May his victory remain in the memories of anyone who applies for Survivor in the future, and I hope his victory over turns the evil, backstabbing precident of Richard Hatch.

from Heart of Gold: From the first time I saw Ethan when Survivor3 was aired,I had a feling he is going to make it.I was right!He won the game proving that evil,backstabing and manipulating others are not just the keys to winning the game.His niceness,being down-to-earth,simplicity,strength, enthutiasm, and dignity really captivated my attention and my heart.He proved that evil is not the only way to success and fame.

Ethan is absolutely gorgeous. Besides his amazing looks, this guys got intelligence, charm, and wit-making him a perfect guy in my book! He is a true sweetie, and I am so glad he won Survivor!

Ethan Zohn is a total hottie, not to mention a great goalie! He has a wonderful personality, and is finally,the nice guy on Survivor. When he won I thought I was gonna cry i was so happy!! I am not very surprised he won. He was the favorite to win. I think all the girls/women who were watching him on Survivor were glued to the set looking at his adorable face!!! I didn't watch Survivor 1 or 2 very much so was bored one night and decided to watch Survivor 3 to see what was going on. And I saw this gorgeous thing: ETHAN! he's soooo hot. I started watching the show every week just to see him but soon discovered that he seems to be one of the sweetest, nicest and most decent guys. Now where can I find myself one of these perfect guys????!

Through the whole season, I really liked Ethan. I wanted either him or Tom to win. I was glad to see him take the million because I believe he played the game with the most integrity.

I found Ethan to be sooooo BORING! He merely followed Lex and Tom. He never made any sort of move for himself. All he seemed to be good for is giving the three-man-aliance some clout(and a third man!). Sure, he was a nice guy, an honest guy, but a FOLLOWER. Nice person, but not a true survivor.

Ethan has tact and character in a game where those two traits are the faux pas. Ethan, you are truely a great guy! The money doesnt even matter, you have set an excellent example, showing that you refuse to be anyone but yourself! That is what has gotton you this far- your genorosity, good heart, and honest smile. Regardless of whether you get the million or not, you're still a winner, and of course my Number One. ROCK ON ETHAN!!

Ethan is definitely the person who should be winning the game as he did it in a way that most people should have played in this reality show. Actually, he is also lucky to have those wonderful people around him (especially those from the Boran Tribe), which makes him stands out from the other contestants.

I think he's by far my favorite Survivor ever. He knows how to play the game very well! He's very strong emotionally and physically. He seems like someone I could get along with easily.

If it was possible to win just by being a complete unselfish, caring person, Ethan, would take first.Its a refreshing moment in life when things seem so gleem and out of the dusty skies of Africa merges such a human.Ethan truely touched my soul to know people like him still exhist in this world.I wish him the best of luck on the show win or loose he has won over many hearts across the globe with such compassion.

Nice guy...but a bit paranoid!

I have been a true Survivor fan, and never before has there been a contestant who has invoked my curiosity, admiration and one who I truly respect. From the first episode it was clear that he was a hard worker: he was always in the frontlines tripping over every log, stone, and bramble-but he managed to get up everytime. His visit to the village brought tears to my eyes (excuse the sentimentality) and I was smitten. Not only is he a terrific player, but wouldn't you just love to run your fingers throught those curls?

He's GORGEOUS, THE hottest guy on earth, nice, CUTE, athletic, INTELLIGENT, genuinely nice and SO SWEET, especially when he went to the "town" and his whole appreciation for the experience. How often is it that a HOT, CUTE, ATHELETIC, NICE AND INTELLIGENT intellectual guy is around and single? Why are you single Ethan? God, I am SO in love with him. He is seriuosly THE most PERFECT GUY [and we know how those don't really exist] but HE DOES..and I hope hope hope he wins the million although you kinda hafta be bitchy for that & he's not like that..oh..but I do hope he wins, even if he does bitch, we'll know he's not like that!!

I've finally jumped on the Ethan bandwagon. I've always liked Ethan but now I've decided he's my favorite contestant. He is a new breed- the male sweetheart. He's the male version of Colleen or Elisabeth. I'm totally rooting for him to win now. He has a sweet, humble, down-to-earth attitude, plus he's cute and a great, skilled player in the challenges. I loved last night's episode when he went to the village and got to see the other side of society and life. He had such a deep appreciation of the experience, which showed a lot of character. I loved it when he was playing hackysack with the village kids and was so grateful to the people for bartering goods. It's obvious even his competitors think highly of Ethan, as they all give him hugs even when he beats them in challenges. I hope Ethan goes far, if not all the way. I'd love to see a young, hard-working, decent person like him win and prove that Generation Xers are not all the bad, as Lindsey and her gang tried to do. Go Ethan!

I'd never seen "Survivor"...just read about the first and second...but when I saw Ethan's photo in TV Guide, I decided to watch. And am I glad I did! Maybe Silas looks/looked like a movie star, but it is Ethan who fascinates me. He seems sincere and honest and, well, it doesn't hurt that he's one hot dude! And the shot of him running with that goat never fails to crack me up. He seems like a great guy. I hope he wins, but even if he doesn't, he's still got an admirer here.

Not only is he beautiful and athletic, he also is intelligent and intense. I also think he is a decent human being, despite some criticism for lying to Silas (clearly Silas was lying to him!). He definitely has the potential to make it to the final two, and I sure hope that he does - not sure I'll keep watching if he is voted off :(

I think this guy has potential although its kinda difficult to say cause Lex is pretty good too. Ethan is in good shape and this will really help especially after the merger. I really want this guy to win the million if not at least be one of the two finalist which i'm really sure he'll be able to do nicely.

ethan is soooo cool hes the best survivor there is! hes playing the game rite and I know he can go all the way.He's in really good shape and cares for the other survivors! I've been watching survivor since it first came on and never had i had a favorite survivor...well ethan is! i know he can make it plus hes really really hot and a sweetheart!

Ethan seems like a down-to-earth, honest human being with great qualities. He helps his team, plays the game well, and he is up to the physical part of the game. I really hope we see him at the end of the game!
