Jessie...We should of seen more of you, but the hot African setting and atmosphere took you away from us! Once again there seems to be a bit of conflict among the raters, but as I read them I’m taking a pro-Jessie stance. And keep in mind how hard it is to rate someone who left early, as well as someone so beautiful. First, she was a positive person throughout her stay on the Boran tribe. Unlike their counterpart Samburu, she (as well as her tribe despite Lex and Clarence) remain positive and never whined. She tried to be a hard worker and even when she was sick she ventured to the waterhole with the other members of the tribe, while Diane stayed back with Clarence. She showed her humanitarian side when she went back to help Kim J. in the tough Reward Challenge. Speaking of challenges, she worked hard with the rest of the group, but I see the group’s point in voting her off, since you can’t take chances with her as such a liability. Second, she fell sick to unboiled water. When a majority of the tribe drank it, they felt sick for about an hour and then went back to working (I guess some people have stronger stomachs), but she threw up, and threw up, AND threw up. Resembling Ramona in a way, who was another good player who was voted off due to her sickness. On a final note, I think Jessie is one of those great players that was taken away early. Other examples are Gretchen, Joel (Survivor 1), Kel, Jeff, Michael (Survivor: Outback), Hunter, Gina, Rob, Gabe (Survivor: Marquesas). Also when reading her profile on the CBS Survivor website, I realized what a great girl she was. While making her way through college, she was Deputy Sheriff. She’s a great family girl (as her Luxury Item she brought a necklace from her grandmother). And from her picture, you can tell how beautiful she was (And her “Miss Puerto Rico” title may speak for itself). And as I wrote this I became more and more biased to her, so here come the slightly tweaked numbers...Jessie receives a personal score of “4” and a “1” for only receiving 15th place in Africa and gets an overall score of “2.5” (which I shall round up to 3).

One of my favorite Survivors of all seasons. I still don't understand why Jessie was booted, and Kim J. was left to take it to the end. Was it not Kim J. who fell durring the Reward Challenge(and did not Jessie come back to help her up?), costing them the win? Was it not Kim J's idea to dump the water in the first episode? Oh well, she will probably have the best career after Survivor. Grant

The only reason she ever got attention is because she is pretty. She should have been intelligent and not drunk the unboiled water. Hell, even Tom knew that.

Voted off too soon, can't play the game well.

A very weak person, doesn't have any strategies to win this game.

I wish she stayed on longer. Only knowing about her for two episodes wasn't long enough.

I thought Jessie was awesome and she was one of my picks to go all the way when the first episode aired. She was strong and a cool person and she shouldn't have gotten voted out as early as she was.

i dont have the faintest idea why she was voted off. even though she was sick, it never manifested itself in the challenges. i think clarence shouldve gone.

In my opinion, Jessie is one of the greatest survivor castaways. Though she didn't won or even get to the merge, it's very impressive how she caught so much attention. I know most reasons is only because of her beauty and smart, but for me she's the Ideal Woman. Remarkably great Sheriff, outstanding student, loving daughter and friend, very positive thinker, very sports, brave, and most especially simple and down-to-earth. Isn't that perfect.

From the very first time that I saw her together with the rest of the survivor castaways, I said that this girl got some attitude. Not only because of her beauty but definitely because there's something about her that makes her tough despite of that dehydration. She might be sick and all that but staying in for six days or a week with her bad condition is enough reason to tell that she's a tough girl. It doesn't mean that because she was voted off early, makes her weak. Diane maybe the first one to be voted off but her personality and attitude is strong. It's the matter of dealing with those other castaways that makes you survive. Jessie will still be the MODEL for me. Smart, tough, great aura, kind and sports. That's the personality of being a survivor.

Definitely the hottest Babe on the show. A shame she couldn't quite cut it.

"Don't hate me because I'm... beautiful!" That line perfectly applies to many of these comments. Is that why you all hate her? Or because she was sick? Well sorry! People get sick... it's not her fault she happened to be sick for the start of the game, and I deduct nothing for something that was not her fault such as that. She seemed sweet, and she seemed like someone who could've gone far had she not been sick--and as such, the 5. And her being the most beautiful woman on any of the three Survivors doesn't hurt the rating either =)

I would like to see her go far in this game.

I would have given her five stars, but she's been booted already. Why? I have no idea. I figured her for a good shot to win it all.

I don't like the division on the one team with the older and younger team, Remember divided we fall.

This woman is beautiful. She doesn't need an ounce of makeup. She shines like diamonds in the hot African sun. It's too bad she got so sick and got voted out. I would have loved watching her every week. I think she would have made it a long way if it were not for the water problem. She was strong in the challanges even though she was puking. Give the poor girl some chap stick. You deserved better beautiful girl!!!

I don't get those who think she is hot. That reference librarian look (with those glasses) don't do it for me.

She is very nice looking, she seems to have a great attitude with the game. I hope she goes right to the end!

Okay, Jessie looks like Jennifer Lopez. She's beautiful but come one now - she was vomiting the first few hours they were at camp site. And she's a sheriff. One day and puking already. Honestly, I think she's popular only because of her looks.
