05/26/2007 | This is a good album. I like Martina McBride and this cd had some great songs on it. I like "My Baby Loves Me", "Independence Day", "Wrong Again", "I Love You", and a few more. Martina is my favorite country artist she has a strong voice.

01/05/2006 | Love it, love it, love it. Martina McBride is the most amazing female country singer ever. You hardly know she's country, because she sounds so natural. Definitely have some favorite songs on this CD. "Concrete Angel", "Where Would You Be" "Whatever You Say" and "Blessed" just to name a few.

06/04/2003 | A MUST buy for ALL Martina Mcbride fans. Martina has been one of the best female artits out there right now. This "Greatest Hits" album shows how she got there. Ten years and all that hard work finally pays off with this awesome compilation. My favorite on the record is "Broken Wing". This is one of those albums that you can listen to from start to finish. The "newer" singles are a great bonus to this GREAT album!

04/29/2003 | This is definately a CD worth purchasing- Martina McBride is one of the best female singers in country music today. I'm glad that "Concrete Angels" finally made it onto the radio. It's such a beautiful song, but it is also very heartbreaking. It is a shame that the events depicted in that song so often occur in the real world. I also like "When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues", "I love you", and "Where Would You Be?". However, my favorte song, espescially in light of the recent divisions that are emerging in our country, is "Independence Day". I will never forget when she performed that in the days following September 11th. This definately belongs at the top of the list- the greatest hits from the greatest singers!

02/17/2003 | I'll always remember Martina crooning "Independence Day" in a slow, melodic way right after 9/11. It gave me chills and I was surprised to find that tears were running down my cheeks. Her voice is so beautiful and she has such a wonderful personality to match. I'm so happy that she has done so well recently. Her Greatest Hits CD is one of my favorites; I never get tired of listening to it because it has so much variety!

11/07/2002 | Great album, there is not a bad song on here. This is a great introduction for someone who is not familiar with her work. I will say that she is nothing less than this generation's Patsy Cline. Her voice is pure power. All the expected hits are on here: Independence Day, A Broken Wing, My Baby Loves Me, Life #9, Wrong Again, Whatever You Say, Happy Girl, and I Love You. There are four new songs on the album and they are all good--When God Fearing Women Get the Blues, Blessed, Where Would You Be, and the beautiful but heartbreaking "Concrete Angel". My only gripe is that there were three excellent songs from her first album--The Time Has Come, Cheap Whiskey, and That's Me--that didn't make the album. Any true fan of Martina's will go pick up a copy of her first album "The Time Has Come". It is excellent as well.

08/13/2002 | I was really surprised at some of the material Martina chose to include on her Greatest Hits album: rather than just her chart-toppers, she also included tracks that are fan favorites but were not released as singles (like "Strangers"). She also threw in 4 new songs, which really serves as an incentive to fork over the money for the CD even if you already have all her previous stuff. And on the new stuff, her voice still doesn't disappoint, especially in the luminous "Where Would You Be?" and the hilarious "When God-fearing Women Get the Blues". An especially nice addition is that Martina offers up some commentary in the album notes on each song: she gives a history of the song, how she discovered it, what made her want to perform it, and she even openly admits when some of the songs aren't her "favorites". This collection is a must-have for McBride fans.
