 | LastMessenger3 (41) 06/21/2007 | Irritating, more than anything. You like it - great! If I like it too - wonderful, but I don't!

 | DumbBlondeCowgirl (23) 03/15/2006 | I get that some music is meant to be played loud, but I can't stand when the bass is so loud that you can feel it six cars over. I get a tension headache when people do this. I never play my radio that loud. I never would. I'm not getting any younger, but I know what acceptable levels are.

 | Vudija (98) 03/15/2006 | Having the person in the next car hear your music playing, isn't the issue really. The problem with having your music blaring is more the safety hazard aspect. You may miss blaring horns, screeching tires, screaming, police or emer. service sirens etc.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (38) 04/16/2005 | Very disruptive, and quite illegal in some areas. It wouldn't be SO bad it wasn't always mean-natured, profanity-filled rap songs always booming out of speakers--I could take my house being shaken by Walking on Sunshine one day. ^_^

 | CastleBee (85) 04/11/2005 | Self imposed deafness and audio graffiti. Based on the volume and the spaced out look that usually accompanies it, I would be willing to bet that these people could potentially run down an entire class of kindergarteners and never hear the screams. Yep, nothing sounds the idiot alert quite like this.

 | Gentle Jude (25) 04/05/2005 | I've noticed it seems to be louts or immature people who do this. When some people want to act and feel tough, they turn their music right up. It is not the worst thing you can do, but it is dangerous because of the fact you can't hear sirens or horns and you can't hear people. Plus it can damage your hearing. It is also selfish because the types of people who do this usually like basey, heavy metal or wrap which sounds loutish. We have to put up with hearing their horrible music. It can be funny sometimes because my next door neighbour does this. Since inside the house, you can only hear the base, you just hear bmmmmmmm bm bm bbbbb bmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bm bm bm bm etc. It sounds quite funny! Anyway, I can hear them at the other end of the street then when they finally drive up the drive way, they sometimes leave it on for 5 minutes. Although it is funny, it is also very distracting. Luckily they don't do that at night when people are trying to sleep. But some people do. There is this lout who drives past my house at 5 in the morning with their music full blast and you can hear it from the other end of the street. This is when it is extremely selfish. I would have to question the type of character that this person would have.

 | souljunkie (21) 03/08/2005 | I like many others did it when I was in high school. At the time your music said something about your identity. Its the same now. I give a little slack to the kids, but if you are 19 plus, your just being a pithetically sophmoric jerk! I still crank my radio on occasion but my doors are closed and Im in my own world.

 | Mr.Political (20) 02/14/2005 | The lack of common courtesy needed to do this without feeling like an idiot is beyond comprehension! When you do something like this you portray yourself as ,frankly, just a very weird person. I mean, what do you hope to accomplish by having your music played at such an obscene volume?! Other than a destroyed ear drum of course...

 | emalbanat (0) 09/28/2004 | Why really care about it anyway? You're next to them for a few moments at the light and then they're gone. Why bother yourself with judging someone else because they do something you don't like. Doesn't make either one any better. And by the way, I don't play my music loud except with the windows up so I'm not defending them. Just don't see the point in concerning myself with the unimportant.

 | scarletfeather (53) 08/05/2004 | This is very annoying, particularly if the music you enjoy has a heavy bomp-bomp-beat, and features gangstas yelling about bitches and hoes and motherf@@@##@.

 | MissPackRat4Jesus (42) 06/18/2004 | It depends. While there are many who deliberately do this to be jerky (and that's simply annoying), I have taken into consideration that there are a few who may have to have their music a little louder than normal because they can't hear well. Even though I'm not hard of hearing, I still have a special sympathy for those who are. However, people who are hard of hearing should refrain from playing their stereos while they're driving -- that way they can concentrate fully on the other sounds around them. When they are parked someplace and sitting in their cars, then they can play their music. For those who hear fine, there's absolutely no excuse at all for this.

 | jamestkirk (24) 06/15/2004 | I am bothered by people who go to a gas station or store and play their music loudly while they leave their car and enter the store or pump their gas. I am especially bothered by those who insist on pumping their bass loudly at the expense of others ears. All in all, folks who do this are flexing their audio muscles at others.
