These are the types of nickel and dime taxes that we will be seeing a lot of over the next few years, as local and state governments attempt to bridge funding shortfalls through nuisance taxes like this. Such a tax will be very unpopular especially if the price of gas goes back up anytime soon.

This, like so many others, falls under the category of Will say anything to be elected. What does he stand for? Other than he is firmly against Pres. Bush being re-elected, I don't know. This is why I could never vote for Kerry. His waffling and flip-flopping are clearly pointed out on this list. Since we don't know what he stands for CLEARLY, who knows what he might actually do if he gets in the White House. Some may not like Pres. Bush, but you CLEARLY know where he stands on the issues. He is a definitive candidate; Sen. Kerry is not!
