10/03/2007 | As a kid I hated carrots. I grew up in an Irish Catholic household, where all vegetables were treated like inimicable beings, best boiled to extinction. As a result, I was about eight or nine before I knew carrots weren't pale yellow. One of the most versatile and interesting vegetables, they are a staple in my kitchen.

sauce! But I don't like cooking carrots, because its taste make awful! Yuk!
I'd better to eat a raw carrots, and it's good.

I'll be the first to admitt that I hate carrots, especially raw, and even though I am a healthy junky, I can't master their taste. I know it's good for me and it has vitamin-A, and it's healthy, but still... Saying that, if you know how to use this veg, it's pretty(and almost unbelievable to hear myself say that)good. If you grate it, add salt, little vinigar, and garlick, it turns into a quite good appetizer. Try it!

05/23/2005 | My daughter loves eating the baby carrots as much as I do. I have to have them in a pot roast. I like them as well with fresh peas, for a side dish with roasted lamb, I like to blanch then sauté them in butter and a bit of sugar to glaze, and season them with fresh pepper, salt and fresh mint.

05/23/2005 | My husband's grandmother likes to tease me about how many carrots I eat. When we go to eat dinner at her house, she sets a huge bowl of cooked baby carrots directly in my spot at the table. She always makes them especially for me.

01/02/2003 | I always had a huge pile of raw carrot with my Sunday roast when I was still living at home with my parents. The crunch and the sweet juice of carrots are just so refreshing and yummy!
The only time I like cooked carrots is when it is whole baby carrots and I tend not to boil them for long as you lose the flavour and crunch - I just boil it enough for it to be hot and slightly tender. Gorgeous!

06/12/2002 | Fun to grow and pick... but I don't know why they say that carrots help your eyesight. I've eaten an elephant's weight in carrots over my lifetime and I have horrible vision.

11/01/2001 | Carrots are delicious cooked in stews and a great, colorful addition to stir-frys. Baby carrots are great cooked at Easter dinner and also make tasty munchies raw. Once in a while, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting makes a yummy dessert-especially with a nice, hot cup of good tea.

10/03/2001 | I only like raw carrots especially when i have a dip for them to dunk them in. As for cooked as hard as I have tried to like cooked carrots. I just do not like them.
