It has by far the best food for the price in San Francisco. The ingredients are fresh. The chef is an unsung genius. The setting is lovely. The reviewer who got sick more likely cooked lunch for himself.

Outstanding food. We had the Sea Bass, the Filet Mignon, Scallops, Salad, and two desserts (Creme Brulee and a Chocolate Truffle) and everything was delicious. The decor is a little unnerving - you feel like you are in a country club dining room as there are polished mahogany walls, white table cloths, and candles on the table - it definitely didn't fit the Mission style. However the quality of the food (and the service) more than made up for the somewhat sterile environment. Some of the best food I've had in SF - highly recommended.
