Lipitor 1

This review might have more impact late at night...as a horror story.

Lipitor is in a group of pharmaceuticals known as Statins and are taken to lower cholesteral levels in people. There are others, and when combined, are the most prescribed and most used prescription drugs, ever. Given that a person is healthy, hydrated and well-nourished, there are two substances in our bodies that rank among the most important: HDL Cholesterol and Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10).

Let's start with CoQ10. We are born with an abundance of CoQ10, but around the age of 25, our ability to produce it diminishes. Here's what it does: each cell in our body has something called mitochondria. The substance that is required for ALL movement...from cellular-level metabolism, to muscle movement and everything in between, is called Adenosine triphosphate (ATP). No ATP...no nuthin'. Think of it as gasoline in a car. It is produced only in the mitochondria. CoQ10 guards and protects the mitochondria to allow glucose to reach the mitochondria, from which ATP is produced.

Now, cholesterol. I mentioned HDL, which is called "good" cholesterol. There's also LDL, or "bad" cholesterol. LDL is damaged HDL...produced when HDL is bombarded by free radicals (from bad foods, too much food, pollution, etc). While it's not useless, it's presence indicates problems; the more, the worse...including heart disease. Increasing your intake of antioxidants and raising your body's pH Level is your first line of defense against free radicals and high levels of LDLs. HDLs are a different story. Without HDLs, we would, literally, fall apart. Cholesterol is the most essential substance in our bodies, contrary to the marketing plan we have been barraged with for the last 30 years or so. Cholestrol is not bad (although we've been told that it IS bad). Ready for this? People with high cholesterol live longer than people with low cholesterol. It's true. We have been lied to. The killer, for me, is that doktors who prescribe this toxic fungus, know this! When people take a Statin drug, the side effects are horrific (I had them)...weakness, as their muscles melt, memory loss, aches and pains, slurred speak, blurred vision and even death. Statins are good at reducing inflammation, but not any better than aspirin. They are also very good at destroying two of the most essential substance in our bodies.

The nightmare. Where do Statin drugs come from? They are a synthetic version of a naturally-occuring (toxic) fungus that is produced in China: Red Yeast Rice. Now, there are 1000s of plants, shrubs, flowers and trees that produce self-defense mechanisms in the form of chemical warfare. These toxic substances keep predators away (poison ivy and sumac are commonly known to humans)...including their own species, when competing for space and moisure. When a biological life form ingests Red Yeast Rice, it has it's own weapon: lovastatin, a toxic fungus that releases a chemical that invades the plant, animal, or insect's body and is designed, by nature, to destroy cholesterol and CoQ10 (and prevent their production), causing sickness and death. 10s of million of Americans, alone, are ingesting this toxic fungus everyday, because Big Pharma doesn't have anywhere else to put it. (And because it produces side effects that result in the sales of more acidic drugs...which lead to the sales of more acidic drugs.

McDonald's marketing team has nothing on these guys...

Big Pharma is now seeking approval to allow the medical profession to prescribe Statin drugs to children as young as 2-years old. Why?

I have been talking to my doctor for a while now about taking Lipitor but we have always decided to wait. I then decided that since i was border line that I would try to get my cholestrol down with an over the counter product. I tried then tried Lipostatin from http://www.SlimEffects.com and so far I have lowered my bad cholesterol by 10 percent. This is the best stuff ever.

Lipitor 1

a horrible medication. It almost killed me. I took the lowest dose. After 3 months, my muscles ached all the time, like when you have a high fever, but your tempurature is normal. I went back to the doc, and had a blood test. White blood cell count was through the roof.
Had to have transfusion. After 3 months off, blood cell count back to normal. But my muscles are still so weak I cannot stand up without pulling up on something. Tread mill speed max is 3.0. Before Lipitor it was 5.5

My mother is on Lipitor for her high cholesterol, which works very well for her. The only thing is...she has to get her liver checked because Lipitor gives a bad side effect concerning the liver. Her brother also has high cholesterol, but he can't take Lipitor anymore because he has liver damage. I feel bad for him. This is for those who takes Lipitor...be careful with this drug and get yourself checked for any liver damage. Otherwise, it is a good medication to lower cholesterol if you have a problem.

Lipitor is very efffective at treating high cholesterol. The one problem I have had on it is this: the normal dose is 10 mg a day. When my doctor doubled the dose to 20 mgs a day, to see if the effectiveness would increase, my liver enzymes increased. So it is important to have a liver enzymes test run occasionally while on this medication. Mind you I AM NOT a doctor. But I sure wouldn't stay on the drug any longer myself, without being having that test done regularly.
