This will certainly hurt him some, but I don't think it's what people will think about on election day.

You mean the 9/11 report which found both the Bush administration (8 months) and the Clinton administration (8 years) did not do enough to prevent terrorist attacks? You mean the 9/11 report that found that the Patriot Act is not only essential to the safety of America, but also doesn't go FAR ENOUGH? You mean the report that found that the Asst Attorney General (9/11 Commissioner Jamie Gorelick) constructed a wall between our intelligence gathering agencies which made it easier for terrorist attacks to be carried out? Yeah, libs, hot stuff. Let's get another charming weakling in the Oval Office as fast as we can because we certainly haven't learned anything from 9/11.

This one is damaging, no doubt about it. But this administration does not let the truth get in their way; they continue to pepper the media with allegations that there really is a connection between Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein . Most members of the media fail to question these assertions at all.

Damaging, but again not incriminating.

This one is for Louuie. Once again, huh??????? UN resolution??? You americans like to make stuff up as you go along and it is fact after it is said 3 times. The UN said NOT TO GO IN and you guys did, so arent you war criminals? How about what the UN said about Isreal giveing the land back to the Pallestinians, and the americans and Isreal said no. So yeah I think you should listen to the UN. Another rich one is Jessica Lynch 100% bull S it never happened, she was shot at by the US as they tryed to return her, but believe what you want to justify your means.

Why is this brought up so much? If I have said it once I have said it a thousand times! The biggest reason for the U.S. removing Hussein was his failure to comply with the U.N. resolution, not for his part in 9-11!!! Secondly, not just to ty to find WMD's, but for his failure to allow U.N. inspectors into the country, that was agreed upon at the end of the first war. Hussein was a threat that violated both the U.N. resolution and the treaty that ended the first war!

I think this was the big question mark over many of our heads that just wouldn't go away. I was all for going after Bin Laden, but I never quite understood how we ended up here. I assumed I just didn't have all the facts. Still, I'm not ready to turn the circus over to a new set of clowns - I'll stick with the ones we have.

This is untrue. The 9-11 panel did say that there was no connection between the 9-11 attacks and Saddam. However, they and the President both say that there is evidence that Saddam was in contact with Al Qeada on more than one occasion. And just for the record, Bush never said that Saddam was involved with 9-11.

Iraq (excuse me, Saddam Hussein) has been a safe-harbor, supporter, and financer of international acts of terrorism for years and years. The price has been heavy, but liberating Iraq from the clutches of Saddam was right.
