 | Daccory (15) 11/02/2004 | Other forces soldiers are also speaking out. For centuries, Britain has had a Commander-in-Chief for each one of the forces liaise with the media. Suddenly, Blair has done away with this objective situation to replace the media liaison officer with a nominated politician from his own party...so that the news can be manipulated and the public not receive the forces' views on the matter. This is going on here and is definitely happening in the US troops too. The British people have been disgusted with their Government's behaviour and army personnel have been saying what a pack of lies it all is for ages. How much does it take to convince a diehard Republican supporter that their party has also become corrupt?

 | numbah16tdhaha (144) 10/31/2004 | Show me a list of the names and I'm likely to tell you that they are blowing smoke instead of making an impact. BY THE WAY: Any current personel speaking out against Bush are guilty of insubordnation.

 | formernadervoter (0) 09/13/2004 | This site is superb. Actually many of these fine servants worked with Republicans including many under Bush.
And the rest are essentially conservative Democrats---these days more conservative than Republicans used to be in Nixon/Ford days.
So, the site is excellent in its critique of the Bush policies which are so extreme and outside the margins of historical U.S. policy that these normally quiet folks had to take a public stand.

 | AryanDan (2) 09/06/2004 | Diplomats and Military Commanders speaking out against their boss is a good sign of a free society. We need more brave souls who will tell the American people the truth, otherwise, how would we know? How could we make an intelligent voting decision if we didn't know what's really going on? These commanders need to be protected under the whistle-blower laws. Also, if Bush's own people (those who do his dirty work) are speaking out, he must really be doing a bad job. There is always loud-mouth malcontents, but this is a trend. The only ones not breaking the silence are the neo-conservatives, the ones causing America's trouble. If you are a soldier reading this, document for the purpose of exposing the wrong doings you are being told to do and TELL THE WORLD! We Americans have a right to know!

 | bibliophile (10) 09/02/2004 | This should have spoken volumes about the low opinion many in the military have of Bush, but I don't think their voice or message was heard widely.

 | magellan (151) 06/16/2004 | I think this one is less damaging than it appears. Crowe left the Republican Party a while back and was an Ambassador under Clinton, and most of the rest are clear Democrats. Could definitely be chalked up to more partisan B.S.
